Empties #3
July 29, 2013It's come to that time where i've actually managed to use up a good amount of products in order for me to give you guys another 'empties' post. Now if you're like me, then it takes me agessss to use up products as I always buy new products and end up neglecting the ones I had began using beforehand. Now these products are ones that i've used up in the last few months as my last empties post (here) was back in April.
Now this empties post is a little smaller than my last one, but you may notice some of the products are the same as I do tend to repurchase the products that I know work for me, although there are a few products that I haven't featured in an empties post before.
Starting with the L'oreal Elvive Smooth & Polish Shampoo (review here), another product that has joined me on the journey to find the perfect hair care routine. As you all know my hair is kinda damaged from constant dying and I picked this is up as it is said to nourish the hair strand by strand and to help control wispyness/flyaways. All in all I was really pleased with this shampoo and it is one that I would repurchase in the future. Next is the Radox Nourish Shower Gel, which my mum actually bought but I seem to have used it. I love these shower gels as the smell incredible and the creamy consistency leaves your skin feeling really soft. Now I know what you are thinking, yes I have finally used up a conditioner and that is the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Conditioner (review here). Now I actually used this up a while ago as I no longer have my ombre hair, but when I did I loved using the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes range as i'm sure most you will know. It just really helped to maintain my ombre. The next product won't come as surprise, as it is another Batiste Dry Shampoo. Dry shampoo and me will always be bestfriends, I just love being able to freshen up my hair inbetween wash days especially if it's looking a little dull or greasy.
Another product that was in my last empties is the Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush Perfume (review here), this has got to be my favourite fragrance at the moment. I think this was my second bottle of the stuff and I have just received another for my birthday. I just love the floral scent that isn't too overpowering but lingers all day. Again, another product from my last empties is the Dove Beauty Finisn Deodorant, there isn't really much to say about this. It's just the deodorant that works for me, lasts pretty well, smells nice and doesn't leave white marks. The next product is one I received in my Selfridges Summer Beauty Box (review here), it is the Molten Brown Blissful Templetree Bath/Shower Wash. Now to me, this wasn't anything special and I really didn't like the masculine scent to it. It was nice to use in the bath and created a nice amount of bubbles but I definitely won't be buying the full size. Last but not least, is the Lady Gaga Fame Perfume, which I received at christmas after going on about it for ages. I love this perfume, as the scent is not what you expect. It's a kind of floral yet sweet scent that is actually really hard to describe but seriously if you get chance to, have a sniff of this!
What products have you used up recently?
P.S: Thank you for all the cute birthday wishes yesterday! :)
