Bargain Ebay Makeup Brushes

February 11, 2014

After ordering these makeup brushes after reading Maddy's blog post here, I waited eagerly for their arrival which did take a while but they were completely worth the wait especially as these four makeup brushes cost less than £5!
Kabuki Makeup Brush Set - Ebay (£4.87)

For quite some time now i'd really wanted to try out some Sigma brushes after reading so many amazing reviews but with my Real Techniques collection being quite big now, I never felt the need to invest in more brushes especially with some of the brushes being quite pricey but when I saw these I knew I had to give them a go seeing as they are really similar to the Sigma brushes, yet a lot more cheaper.

This set contains four foundation based kabuki style brushes, all perfect for blending foundation but could also be used for other products such as cream blushes, concealers etc. Even though I haven't actually used these brushes, i'm still going to talk about them and then properly review them at a later date.

The first brush is this Domed Foundation Brush, which automatically reminded me of the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush which is my all time favourite foundation brush. The shape really allows you to get into the nooks and crannies of your face, whilst giving an amazing flawless finish. Next up is the Flat Top Foundation Brush, which looks a little bit like a stippling brush but without the duo fibres. This reminds me mainly of the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, which works really well to buff in foundation but this brush would be great for blending in cream blushes and maybe more powder based products. The Tapered Foundation Brush is like no brush i've ever owned and i'm quite intrigued by this one to see how well it works with foundation, but I can also see this coming in quite handy for contouring or blending in concealer. Lastly is the Angled Foundation Brush, which is basically an angled buffing brush which I can see working really well with foundation but also could work well for applying bronzer or contouring, I can't wait to see how this works!

All of these brushes are super soft and are of amazing quality for the price. I don't think I could bang on anymore about how much of a bargain these brushes are! I will be reporting back on these once i've gotten to grips with them, but I wanted to let you guys know about them before they are no longer available.

Have you found any amazing eBay makeup bargains?
