Empties #2
April 30, 2013
So as you can tell from the title I have another post on all the products that I have used up since my last empties post which was a couple of months ago. As I tend to buy lots of different products all the time I do find it difficult to use up products that I have previously bought but as I haven't been buying too many new products recently I have managed to use up a good amount of things and the majority of these products I already have or will repurchase.
As you can see I've used up quite a lot of different products, some I have already featured on my blog so I will link any reviews that may be useful for you guys, so lets get cracking!
First up is hair-care, for me hair-care is probably where a lot of my money goes as i am constantly searching for products that work well for my hair and i'm sure a lot of you know that finding a good hair-care routine is difficult as it can take years to find products that work well together so the fact i've managed to use up products for my hair is a miracle!
Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo: This product you have all seen on my blog plenty of times and i'm sure you all know how much I love this product as well as the conditioner that accompanies it. It works really well on my ombre by knocking out any brassy tones and helps to tone the blonde making it less yellow. This is actually my first bottle of this shampoo which I bought a while back and I loved it that much that I repurchased it before it had even ran out. You can read a bit more of in depth review of this here.
Lee Stafford Sun Kissed Lightning Spray: Another Lee Stafford product, I do love his bleach blondes range! I reviewed this a couple of weeks ago and has featured on my blog a lot but I love this as it helps to upkeep my ombre and lighten it over a longer period of time meaning that I don't have to re-bleach it causing my hair more damage. If you saw my recent boots haul you will see that I have already repurchased this. You can read the full review of this product here.
Batiste Dry Shampoo: Who doesn't love a good dry shampoo?! I bought this XL Batiste dry shampoo a while back as i'm always using it so I thought i'd see if a larger one would benefit me more and it did! As this isn't that much more expensive than the normal size it was great value for money and lasted for a good few months. If you don't know basically dry shampoo is great to use when your hair is in between washes and is looking a bit dull and a bit greasy, a few sprays of this and your hair looks refreshed! It is also great for adding volume. The only thing I didn't like was that I found it hard to rub in, leaving my hair with a white tint but I have repurchased this but in the original formula (green bottle) and that one is a lot less noticeable.
Pantenne ProV Hairspray Extra Hold: I have finally finished a hairspray! As I don't use hairspray on a daily basis I always find it takes me ages to get through a hairspray, but it's safe to say I won't be repurchasing this one. Even though it was a good hairspray and had really good hold I found that it was really difficult to brush out of my hair and left a shiny glaze over my hair which didn't look very nice.
Now onto body and face products! Even though I do spend a lot on hair-care I do also spend a fair bit on body products, who doesn't love a good body scrub or bodywash?! Most of these products are ones that I would repurchase or ones that I do repurchased on a regular basis.
Soap&Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub: As i'm sure many of you know I love the sugar crush range from Soap&Glory and this bodyscrub is one product that I cannot live without. The smell of crushed brown sugar and lime lingers on my body and leaves my skin feeling so soft which makes for a happy blogger if you ask me. I am yet to repurchase this but Boots currently have 3for2 on all Soap&Glory stuff so I hopefully will soon! You can read a full review on this here.
Soap&Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash: Another Soap&Glory product, yes I really do love the sugar crush range! This body wash has the exact same scent as the body scrub but obviously in a body wash form instead. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean with the scent lingering for a good few hours after i've had a shower which I love! Again I haven't repurchased this yet but hopefully I will soon. You can read a full review on this here.
Dove Go Fresh Deodorant: After many years of trying to find a deodorant that works for me I think i've found it! I love the Dove range of deodorants so I thought i'd give this one a go instead of the Dove Beauty Finish one I normally use and even though this one was a really good deodorant I found that it liked to clump up and then flake off just after applying which was annoying when wearing dark clothing and I hardly ever experience with the Beauty Finish version, so I have reverted back to that one.
Radox Berry Burst Shower Gel: I featured this in a haul about a month ago as a cheap showergel to take with me whilst I was in London and safe to say it lasted longer than the month in London which is amazing for a showergel as I normally go through one every two weeks! I loved this as it smelt so nice and the creamy formula was really nice and left my skin feeling so smooth. I will definitely consider buying this again when i've used up my current showergel.
Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush Perfume: You all know how much I love this perfume and I was so sad when I finished this bottle, so much so that I went and bought a bigger one which i'm already a third of my way through! I love the floral scent as it isn't too overpowering and adds a nice summery feel. I've had so many people asking me what perfume i'm wearing and complementing on how nice the smell is. You can read a more in depth review here.
Tesco Cleansing Facial Wipes: I know this one is kind of boring but as I had just used up these face wipes I thought i'd briefly mention them. I love these face wipes not only because they are super cheap (less than 50p a pack) but I love what they do. They take my makeup off so easily leaving my face feeling really clean and refreshed. I also really like the smell, as they are scented with cucumber extract they just smell so fresh and don't irritate my eyes at all. I have already repurchased these and I will continue to.
So that is all the products that I have recently used up! I hope you found this post somewhat useful and I hope you are all well!
xx
