My Go To Gingham Piece

October 05, 2017

Even though we are now into October, the weather is still having it's odd days of somewhat warmer temperatures which is baffling me a little as it just needs to make it's mind up in my opinion. Having said that, I wanted to share with you all probably my most worn piece of the summer, a go to if you like before I begin to share more Autumnal looks with you all!
I think all of us gals have a go to something in our wardrobe, whether it be a dress or a pair of shoes and when you find that go to thing you hold onto it for as long as you possibly can, but also wear it as much as you can because you know it will always serve you well.

A few months back the team at Rosegal got in touch to try out a few bits from their website, and being someone who loves fast fashion for affordable prices I was really intrigued to see what they had to offer. Whilst browsing their website I found that they cater for every kind of style, whether you're young and trend led, or whether you're a little older and looking for cute by casual day wear.

One piece that really stood out to be was this beautiful Off Shoulder Embroidered Gingham Blouse* (£7.67) which I just absolutely fell in love with. I already own a couple of bardot top of this same shape and I have worn those to death, so when I saw it in this fabric with the beautiful yellow floral embroidered details I just knew i'd love it. One thing I often struggle with when it comes to bardot tops is what bra to wear, and I find strapless bras to be a nightmare as I can never find the right size. Having seen a lot of things about the stick on strapless bras through social media, I was really intrigued to see what they were all about, so I ordered this Scalloped Lace Up Backless Adhesive Bra* (£5.16) from Rosegal, and it has changed my life. I've gotten a few wears out of this now, when i've really been stuck with certain tops and it is honestly the one kind of bra I say every girl should have incase of a bra emergency!

The main reason why this top is my go to, is because it can be styled with anything but I tend to always style it with my trusty Topshop Jamie Jeans (£40) as they are so flattering and just hold you in at all of the right places. As for accessories i'm finally showing you guys my best purchase of the year, and if you're a bargain hunter like me then you'll totally be with me when I say that designer bags are frigging expensive! Whilst I was in China earlier in the summer with work, I totally took advantage of the China markets and got myself this beaut Chloe Dupe Bag (£30), which turned out to be around £30 and i'm totally not complaining as I get so much wear out if! Maybe one day i'll treat myself to the real thing, but for now this bag will see me through.

What is your go to fashion piece at the moment?
