New Layout

May 12, 2013

Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend with whatever you got up to. Just wanted to make a quick post tonight to introduce the new layout which went live earlier this afternoon if you hadn't already noticed it.

It was a total spur of the moment thing as it's been about two months since I last changed the layout and I thought it was about time that it could do with a little update but I didn't want to change it too much as a lot of you have commented on how you liked the simplicity of my previous layout. So yeah, I changed the header font and made it a little more brighter adding a somewhat spring/summery feel seeing as it is spring now and I also changed the sidebar titles and content colours to match in with the new header colours. Like I said I didn't want to change it too much so I kept all post widths and fonts all the same as I was pretty happy with how that was all looking. I've also added a little 'tags' section on the lower part of the sidebar just to help you guys narrow down the type of posts you want to read.

I'm trying to keep a continuous theme through all of my posts with the photo editing all matching to somewhat help to establish the blog and it's fluidity. Hopefully I can improve my photo editing skills over the summer as well when I have more time, even though i'm quite pleased with it, I do think there are sometimes where it could be a lot better but I just can't do anymore to it because I don't know how to approach it.

So thats the new layout! I hope you guys like it and please let me know what you think of it as i'd love your guys feedback.

xx

    1. I made it using photoshop, just using a really simple font but if you don't have photoshop then i suggest trying photofiltre which is free and you just download it off the internet and then used a blog button code generator for the code :) xx
