Damaged hair is something i've dealt with ever since I began dying my hair aged 17, and is something i'll probably always have to deal with. Having said that i've recently been trying out a few products designed to help protect and strengthen your hair and i've began to notice a big difference, so I thought i'd share why i've been loving these products!

Now we all know you can't just repair hair, once it's damaged it takes a lot of time and products to get it to a healthier state but restoring hair back to brand new is impossible. Having said that, these products definitely help to strengthen the hair and protect it from further damage.

One brand i've heard some incredible things about for protecting hair is the Redken Anti Snap range, of which I was somewhat skeptical about but after having it recommended to me after having my hair done, and an actual hairdresser assessing the state of my hair I thought it was about time I gave it a go! I picked up the Redken Anti Snap Treatment (£18.50) and have been using this for a few months now, and so far i'm really impressed. This is essentially designed to smooth the hair cuticle and reduce friction when brushing or styling the hair with it's exclusive interbond conditioning system. I typically use this once i've washed my hair and i'll apply it throughout my hair whilst it is still damp and it works as a leave in conditioning treatment would. What is also great is that it also has a heat protectant within it, which is great for people like me who forget to use heat protectant sprays from time to time. Typically this doesn't change the appearance or the feel of your hair instantly, however I have noticed how much the damage and breakage of my hair has reduced dramatically, and instead my hair actually seems to be growing would you believe!

Another range i've been trying out recently is the Charles Worthington Strength & Repair range of which has been a blessing in disguise for my hair ever since Dove discontinued my favourite hair product last year (i'm still mourning if you hadn't noticed). They recently sent me the Charles Worthington Strength & Repair Fibre Bond Protein Cream* (£7.99) which I think works similarly to the Redken Anti Snap but it is a lot thicker in consistency. It says that it makes the hair stronger 6X stronger in just one use, with strand building protien targeting the inner hair strand whilst also protecting the hair from heat of up to 230 degrees. I've been using this in rotation with the Redken Anti Snap on both damp hair and dry hair prior to styling and I cannot believe the difference this product makes in just one use! I also use this to smooth through the ends of my hair if they are looking dry, and it instantly improves the softness of my hair which i've struggled to find in a product for such a long time! 

Another product that I picked up from the range after being so impressed with the cream is the Charles Worthington Strength & Repair Heat Defence Spray (£7.99) mainly to use in between the other two products for when i'm in need of an instant solution to protecting my hair from heat damage. simiarly to the cream it protects against up to 230 degrees of heat, but one thing I have learnt with heat protectants is that you should really give your hair a blast with a hair dryer before applying styling tools directly to the hair, as this kind of defeats the idea of a heat protectant in the first place. Again i've seen how less dry and brittle my hair feels since I started using this, as I think some heat protectants don't do a thing, and in turn damage your hair even more but not this!

What products to you use to combat damaging your hair?

These past couple of weeks my creative juices have been flowing, so much so that I completely forgot to schedule in an end of the month favourites and as I haven't missed a favourites in what is probably years, I definitely didn't want to start now. So although for me this post is very quickly thrown together, I still wanted to share some products i've been loving this month.
As you'll see in an upcoming post of mine, August has been a funny month and i'm kind of glad that September is on the horizon as I have some really excited things coming up these next couple of months. Anywho, here are a few products that i've been enjoying this past month!

This month i've really been trying to sort my hair out, as I treated it to a root touch up, trim and smartbond treatment at the end of July and since then i've been taking as much care of it as I possibly can! A range i've been recently trying out is the Charles Worthington Strength and Repair range, and in particular i've been loving the Strength and Repair Fibre Bond Protein Cream* (£7.99). I'll be posting a more in depth review soon, however this stuff is exactly what my hair has needed these past few months as it just helps to protect it from any heat, whilst also just smoothing out and restoring any dry areas.

A new skincare product that has recently entered my life after telling myself for months that I needed it is the L'oreal Hydra Genius Liquid Care (£9.99), which i'd heard and seen so much about but just hadn't seen it to pick it up. Whilst I was in Plymouth at the weekend I spotted in Boots and just had to pick it up! I've been using this on and off as my skin has been somewhat oily, which isn't like my skin but on the days where it's needed a moisture boost this has been a welcomed addition to my skincare regime. I'll probably speak more about this in the future, but i've not been using it long enough to give it a proper full review as of yet.

Lastly this month i've been loving a few bits from 3ina, of which I did a first impressions/review style post (which you can read here) and since then i've really been getting a lot of wear out of the 3ina The Highlighter 201* (£10.95). It's a beautiful highlight for everyday wear, as it's quite build-able but can also be worn quite subtly, which for me is perfect when I really can't be bothered to make an effort. I have a thing for gold/champagne highlighters and this has become a part of the highlighters that I use on rotation!

What products have you been enjoying this month?

It's safe to say that this year I have purchased and tried out a fair amount of products that I have been eyeing for months if not years, and the majority of these products have definitely become a daily addition to my beauty routines. 

Starting off with skincare, as that usually comes first in a beauty routine and a few products have really stood out to me over the past few months but one product that I have loved and used pretty much everyday since I first purchased it is the Clinique Pep Start Hyrdo Blur Moisturiser (£24.50). This moisturiser is literally like no other that I have used before, and it is absolutely incredible especially if you suffer from dry skin like me that is often hard to hide when applying foundation. For me this instantly smoothes and soothes any dry skin areas, whilst also giving my skin a much needed boost of hydration which leaves it looking smoother and more glowy. What I also love is how this kind of doubles as a primer, as it creates a lovely smooth base for my foundation to sit on and helps it last longer throughout the day.

As for foundation my favourite of this year has got to be the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation* (£31.50) of which I have raved about endlessly in a number of posts recently. I love this foundation for many reasons, but mainly because it is super light weight but provides an amazing coverage that just covers any imperfections but it lasts so well throughout the day, although it's definitely not gym proof as i've recently found out! Another product i've been loving to apply my foundation with is the Rose Gold Artist Brush Set* (£12.06), in particular the larger oval paddle brush as it applies my foundation like a dream. It buffs in within seconds and leaves my foundation looking absolutely flawless! 

As you all are probably aware, my love for the Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette (£37) is real as it is hands down the best contour palette I have ever used, and i've used a few over the past few years! I recently spoke about this in my post here, and how I can use it in a couple of ways but also how amazing the contour shades are! If you haven't tried this yet, i'd highly recommend as it is as amazing as everyone says it is! Moving onto highlighter, it will come as no surprise that the Becca Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfecter (£32) is hands down the best highlighter to have ever been created! The rose gold pop that this gives is just stunning, and I have so many compliments when i've worn this highlighter. For me it's like no highlighter I have ever used and I feel absolutely amazing whenever I wear this!

For fragrance, the scent that stands out to me is the Giorgio Armani Si Fragrance (£73) of which I have wanted to try for years and I am so happy to have this in my life. For me it's a sophisticated version of my favourite kind of scents, with a slight more sexiness to it that I just love. If like me you enjoy your fruity and floral scents, then this is definitely one for you try as i'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do!

Finally one hair care product that I have recently purchased is the Redken Extreme Anti Snap Treatment (£) which I was recommend by my hairdresser as my hair is quite damaged, and is prone to a lot of breakage and since adding this into my haircare routine I can see how badly my hair needed something like this. It's great for helping to strengthen your hair especially if it is prone to breakage or split ends, and I have noticed such a difference in the quality of my hair since I began using this! 

What products have you been loving so far this year?

I headed down to my local Regis Worcester Salon this weekend just gone for my appointment, but prior to that I had to pop in for skin test (which is required with anyone wanting to have the Smartbond treatment) where I also had a quick consultation with the hair stylist Katie, which was really nice as she could get a feel for what I wanted and could prepare in the run up to my appointment. On the day we again recapped what was discussed and Katie had a good look at the overall condition of my hair, which is where we discovered that I had a few different bands of colour running through my hair due to having my hair stripped last year and from having my roots touched up over the years. So from this we decided to mix two different tones, to help even out the colour but without it going too dark.

With being a natural red head my roots were in need of some TLC, so Katie started off mixing up my colour and adding step one of the Smartbond treatment into my colour and then applied that to my roots, leaving that for ten minutes and then applying the colour to the rest of my hair and again leaving the for another ten to fifteen minutes before then rinsing the colour off. She then applied step two of the Smartbond treatment to my hair, a bit like you would a hair mask and left that on for ten minutes to work its magic. This was then washed off, and my hair was then cut and blow dried.

Overall I am really pleased with the final results of the colour of my hair, as it's more even and the banding has been completely evened out and although the colour is slightly darker than it was before it still has some lovely tones running through it that I absolutely love. As for the Smartbond treatment, my hair feels incredibly soft and almost feels as if the damaged areas have been repaired. It also has a lovely shine to it that it has lacked for such a long time, and it is looking really healthy especially after having a much needed cut also. I also got some great advice from my hair stylist Katie, which I'm really grateful for and will begin applying into my haircare routine.

For me when it comes to hair care, my favourite hair product has got be a hair mask as I just find they are the only products that make a noticeable difference to the appearance and quality of my hair just after once use. I'm always trying out various different hair masks, but these two have been mega favourites of mine these past few months!

A hair care brand that i've always loved is Lee Stafford and a recent range that they have released is their Coco Loco Range and i've been loving their Coco Loco Coconut Mask (£6.99) as it smells absolutely incredible, and leaves my hair feeling intensely nourished. I typically use this at least once a week when a normal conditioner just isn't enough to give my hair that conditioning that it needs. I usually apply this to my hair and leave it for around ten minutes to really soak in and do it's magic. What I also love about this is how amazing it leaves my hair smelling and all coconutty!

Another hair brand that i've loved for a while but haven't tried many products from is Macadamia and I love picking up their products from TkMaxx as they are slightly cheaper, and a lot more justifiable. I have always loved their Deep Repair Masque (£12.75) and is a hair mask that I always come back to, and wonder why I haven't used or repurchased for some time. I've been using this religiously for the past few weeks after spotting this in my local TkMaxx and I can tell my hair is so happy to have this back in it's life. I find that any product with some sort of oil always works wonders to my hair and the macadamia range is one i'd definitely recommend trying!

What are your favourite hair masks?

Vatika is a brand that I met through a blogging event, of whom i'd never really heard of before but soon recognised their products from their packaging as it is quite stand out in comparison to your typical haircare brands. Vatika is a brand that not only cover hair care, but also hair dyes and skincare all of which are totally 100% natural, and in attempt to take my haircare in the more organic route (due to overuse of sulphates reacting with my coloured hair) I just knew I had to try out some of their products!

The lovely team at Vatika kindly offered to send me a few of their products to try out and they were so personal to me, and my hairs needs that they selected a few products from their wide range of hair care products to try out, and my hair has not felt as healthy as it does now in a very long time, years in fact! As my hair is very prone to at home dying kits, it has lost a lot of it's natural shine but is also quite dry and brittle through the years of dying, so the Vatika Virgin Olive Nourishing Shampoo* (£2.19) sounded like the perfect shampoo to give my hair the cleanse that it needs from the build up of product, but to also nourish and to stop my hair drying frizzy, which always leaves it feeling cleansed but also so soft. What I personally enjoy about this shampoo is that the formula is quite light, but goes a really long way as i've been using this on and off for a good few months and i've still got a good half of the bottle left. It has a very mild fragrance and is probably the first shampoo in a good few years that doesn't sting my eyes, which isn't usually a selling point to a product but it's definitely a bonus for me!

The second part to this hair combo is the Vatika Coconut Hair Mask* (£5.99), which is a part of their coconut range specifically aimed at fine or limp hair, which sums up my hair perfectly! I absolutely love using a wide variety of hair masks, as I find my hair often gets used to products if I use them too regularly and this mask is a lovely once a week treatment that my hair absolutely adores! Similarly to the shampoo, the formula to this mask is actually really lightweight as I find a large proportion of hair masks are actually quite weighing on my hair, but this is so lovely. I typically slather this all over my hair, including the root area as every once in a while it's good to give your newest hair some TLC. Leaving this on for around 10 minutes to allow it to works it magic, and then rinsing off just leaves my hair feeling so soft but also completely knot free, which means combing through my hair is an absolute dream!

If you're wanting to switch up the hair products you're using, or you're wanting to try out some more natural haircare products then i'd totally recommend checking out Vatika's amazing range of products, as they have so many products aimed at so many different hair types, or hair needs. Their prodcuts are also very widely available in most Asda and Superdrug stores, so they're easy to get your hands on!

(Let's take a second to discuss that i've shot these products portrait instead of the usual landscape. I'm not sure how I feel about this, so please let me know your thoughts.) After absolutely loving the previous products from Ogario I was so excited to crack open these products that have been sat in my stash for quite some time as my hair has been in need of some pampering. 

What I love about Ogario London is that their haircare is made of ingredients derived from natural sources, but with that in mind with Ogario coming from a professional background in order to get the best results they do use a small amount of synthetic ingredients such as preservatives to ensure the haircare doesn't spoil. With the use of many natural ingredients everyone of their products smells incredibly fresh and herbal, in comparison to highly synthetic hair products on the market.

Kicking things off with probably the most amazing smelling shampoo i've ever had the pleasure of smelling, this is the award winning Ogario Revive & Shine Shampoo* (£16.50) with extracts of boabab and nettle which leave your hair looking super shiny and feeling super soft. This shampoo is lovely for when your hair is looking a bit in need as it works wonders for reviving your hair by gently cleansing and just giving your hair that little bit of life that it can sometimes lack. I love using this shampoo when i've let my hair get to the fourth or fifth day, where dry shampoo cannot save me anymore as it works wonders at removing any product build up, as just gives my hair a good clean and it leaves my hair smelling amazing!

The next product i've been trying is the Ogario Hydrate & Shine Conditioner* (£18.50), of which I have previously tried out the shampoo and loved it, so I knew i'd also get on well with the conditioner. Similarly to the shampoo, this conditioner is designed to hydrate your hair especially if it's dry or coloured but it also leaves your hair looking incredibly shiny but the ingredients are slightly different with extracts of marshmallow and tamarind, that again smell incredible. In comparison to their hair mask, this conditioner actually works very similarly and leaves my hair almost as soft as a hair mask would which to me is quite impressive, as it means that if I don't have time for a hair mask I know that I can get similar results from this.

All in all I am once again very impressed with these products from Ogario London and if you're wanting a new haircare brand of a professional quality to try out, then I would highly recommend trying them out as their products are great and very reasonably priced for the quality of them.

LOOK 1 - BOUNCY CURLS

When i'm being completely lazy with my hair I will usually just let it air dry, and I find after blow dry styling to be such a faff and I find my hair just looks so flat when I blow dry it, but I thought i'd see how these products could work to make my hair look sleek but with some added volume after blow drying my hair.

Safe to say I was really pleased with this look! It took literally 10 minutes, with barely any after styling and I loved the added volume into the root section of my hair, as i'm so used to my hair look really flat after a blow dry.

LOOK 3 - WAVY HALF UP PONYTAIL

The third and final look is my go to hair style, the half up half down pony tail as it's so easy to do, and it makes your second/third day hair just look that little less miserable. I thought i'd switch it up a little and add some waves into this look, to see how they lasted throughout the day as waves never stay put in my hair.

So that is the third and final look, which I was so pleased with as it transformed my usual boring half up pony tail into a hair look that I loved, and it took around 10-15 minutes to achieve!

Overall I absolutely loved using these five products from the new L'oreal Studio Pro range to change up my boring everyday hair looks and to add some life into my hair styling! If you're looking to transform your everyday hair looks, or are just wanting to try out some new hair styling products then I would definitely recommend trying out the L'oreal Studio Pro range as it's not only affordable but works wonders in my opinion!

I'm sure i'm not alone when it comes to blow drying your hair and that you can never perfect it the way that you can when visiting your local hair salon, but like me you try your best and pray that the after styling saves your hairs appearance for the remainder of the day. Through trying out a fair few hair care products over the years, there are definitely a few that my hair loves and work hand in hand to give my hair the best blow dry that I can at home.

Once i've given my hair a good wash, with whatever shampoo and conditioner i've got on the go I like to give my hair as much nourishment as I possibly can, as my hair is fairly dry and damaged through the years of box dying it. Having said that, I have recently had my hair stripped and i've had an Olaplex treatment so it's not as damaged as it once was but it still quite dry especially at the ends. For years i've heard so many people say that a hair oil will work wonders, and it was until I tried out the Morrocan Oil Treatment Light (£13.45). I apply this to the ends of my hair whilst it is still quite wet, allowing it to really soak into the ends of my hair and after using this for a good year now I can definitely say that having an oil treatment within your hair regime is one of they key things to keeping your hair not only feeling healthy but also looking healthy.

The next product that I love to use especially on the lower ends of my hair is the Lee Stafford Argan Oil Night Repair Serum (£12.99), which i've spoken about a fair bit previously and that is because I honestly love it! Although this is designed as a product you apply and leave overnight, like a treatment that helps to repair your hair overnight but I don't really use it like that as I don't tend to sleep with wet or damp hair. I prefer to use that as a serum or after conditioning treatment that helps to brush through the knots in my hair but the product itself is bloody brilliant. The argan oil infused formula really works to give my hair some much needed nourishment and it leaves my hair feeling so soft and looking so healthy! 

A more recent addition into my blow dry regime is the Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Primer* (£12.75), which is essentially a primer that preps your hair for your blow dry and helps to protect the hair, and shield it from any breakage or damage that your hair can face during the blow drying your hair. Now hair primers are an odd one to me, but this product has somewhat changed my opinion as this product is like no other than i've tried. I find it really does help to prep my hair and protect my hair when I am blow drying it, and I find that my hair no longer feels dry or appears frizzy after blow drying my hair, all thanks to this product. 

The final product that I will forever praise for having within my hair care regime is the Michael Mercier Wet Brush (£7.95), which I picked up on a whim from my local TkMaxx around a year or so ago and I would highly recommend to anyone that having a brush designed to use when your hair is wet. This brush in particular is so delicate on my hair and I find that hardly any hair comes out of my hair when I use this, as I find standard brushes really hurt and tug on my hair especially when it's wet but this works wonders. It glides through my hair like a right dream and it removes any unwanted tangles.

So those are the four products that I love to use hand in hand for perfecting my at home blow dry!

What products do you use when blow dry your hair?

After celebrating my birthday and receiving some really thoughtful gifts I thought that I should pull together a mini favourites post, as I have been trying out few new products of which I have spoken about a fair amount and as I didn't post a favourites last month, I thought it was probably best to continue to tell you how much i've been loving these products.

Beginning with the main product in my life at this moment in time and this is of course the beautiful Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Kit (£39). I kindly received this for my birthday after hinting somewhat about it and it has taken over as my favourite highlighter. In my opinion you haven't tried a highlighter until you have tried out this palette for yourself as it is honestly like no other. With four beautiful shades all of which give your cheeks that gleam you've been longing for and also gives you a good few options shade wise. For me I use the bottom two shades the most, as they are the perfect highlight and the other two shades work quite well as a blush/subtle bronze but still give the same amazing highlight as the other two shades. If you haven't tried out this palette then I would urge you to get out there and give it try for yourself!

Another couple of recent additions into my life include this amazing yet bargain eBay 8-peice Rose Gold Brush Set (£4.84). I recently did a post all about these brushes and my first impressions on them here, so make sure you give that a read but these brushes are just stunning! The main reason I bought them was because they are an amazing dupe for a Zoeva brush set, but for literally a fraction of the price. They are so soft and amazing to use, but they also work really good as blog photo props also! Another new additions come the Kylie Koko K Lip Kit ($29), which i'm sure you've seen me banging on about enough after ordering a few shades, but Koko K has been my ultimate favourite shade and it lasts all dat! Again I have already posted my first impressions on these lip kits, so make to check that out here but I will be doing a more in depth review of my entire experience soon!

The last favourite of this month is actually an oldie, which I ran out of a while back and I hadn't found any new product that did the same job so I had to go out and repurchase it. This is the Lee Stafford Argan Oil Night Repair Serum (£12.99), which I was sent to try out a good while ago now and my hair just reacted to it so well! It hydrated my hair like no other argan oil product ever has, and it always leaves my hair feeling so smooth. So when I ran out, I noticed a massive difference in the quality of my hair and I knew straight away that it was because I hadn't been using this product so i'm so glad to have it back in my hair care routine!

What products have you been loving this month?

A hair care brand i've recently been trying out a couple of products from is Ogario London, who i'd never heard of before but after looking into them a little got me really intrigued and excited to see what their products would be like. What I really liked the sound of was how individual their products are, with blends of natural oils and plant extracts that feature in each of their hair products, that you typically wouldn't find in every hair care product on the market.

For a good couple of months now i've really been putting their products to the test and so far i've been left so amazed that I no doubt will be repurchasing these products. Firstly is the Ogario Restore and Shine Hair Masque* (£28.50) that is designed to restore dry and damaged hair in order to make it obviously less dry, but generally easier to manage, stronger and also shiny. For someone who's hair is fairly damaged and dry this hair mask has really impressed me so far. I usually use this at least twice a week, slathering the ends of my hair and leaving it to soak in for a good 10 minutes or so and it just leaves my hair feeling so soft, and shiny! What I really love about this hair mask is the scent, it has a lovely lemon zesty lavender scent that just smells incredible and leaves your hair smelling amazing! As you can see this product is well loved, as i've used more then 2/3rd's of the jar and it's definitely a hair mask I would highly recommend trying out!

Moving on the Ogario Hydrate and Shine Shampoo* (£16.50), which is targeted towards hair that is dry and colour treated hair, which describes my hair perfectly! This shampoo contains honey and moringa seed, which I find has been working wonders on my hair and gives my hair a lovely natural looking shine. What I like about this shampoo is that it doesn't lather up too much, as I find shampoos that lather up tend to leave my hair feeling really dry and stripped, but this product does the opposite leaving my hair feeling nourished and soft. Again this product has a lovely natural scent to it, that leaves my hair smelling amazing and I often catch myself sniffing my hair afterwards because it smells that good! 

All in all since using these products i've really noticed a difference in my hair and since having my hair stripped a couple of weeks ago i've been reaching for these products more and more!

Have you tried any new hair products recently?

Redken is one of my favourite hair care brands, after trying out several of their products and never being disappointed they are a brand that I will always go back to. Their products are very innovative in comparison to their competitor brands and the quality of their products is just amazing.

A product that i'd heard a fair bit about in the recent months, thanks to one of my favourite bloggers Lily Melrose is the Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Primer* (£17) and after seeing how much she loved this product, I just knew that I needed to try this out. I was delighted when the team at Redken sent over this for my to try, which was accompanied by some american candy that we all know i'm a sucker for. With primers being such a huge thing in the makeup world, I did wonder how long it would take for it to branch into other areas of beauty but a blow dry primer is definitely a product I was not expecting.

As I suffer from dry and damaged hair, due to constant re-dying i'm always on the look out for products that specialise in protecting against heat whilst also doing my hair some good. This primer is designed to not only prep the hair for a blow dry, but to also protect the hair from any heat and to strengthen the hair to shield it from breakage. I've been using this every single time that i've dried my hair for the past two weeks, applying it to the majority of my hair whilst it is wet but avoiding the roots and really allowing it to soak into my hair. What I love about this product is that it not only speeds up the drying time of your hair but it also protects to up to 230℃ which is great, especially when your styling your hair after it's blow dry.

So far i've found that my hair is looking a lot less frizzy, as it works to help tame flyaways and my hair feels so much more softer on a daily basis. If like me you have dry hair, that is somewhat thick and often frizzy, then i'd truly recommend trying this product!

Have you tried anything from Redken?

For a good while now i've been trying to find products that would really help to make a difference to my hair, as I find some products can often have the opposite effect or just don't really work as well as you first hoped. I've recently been trying some products from not only brands I hadn't really heard of before but also products that I probably wouldn't of ever tried before.

When coconut oil suddenly became a huge craze last year, I wondered if it really was as worth it as everyone made out but with the hype seemed to come a massive price tag and I just wasn't about that life. So when the lovely people at The Groovy Food Company got in touch to try out their Organic Coconut Oil* (£6) I was really intrigued to see what the fuss was all about and i've since succumbed to the hype. I usually lather my hair in coconut oil the night before i'm planning on washing my hair to really let it soak in and do it's magic, and from doing this minimum two times a week i've really noticed how much better my hair is appearing. Not only does it give your hair an amazing shine, but it also leaves your hair smelling truly amazing! If you haven't tried using coconut oil on your hair, then i'd definitely recommend!

Moving on to some other products i've been trialling, dry shampoo is my haircare saviour but I find that most dry shampoos are actually really drying to your hair and it can also react to other hair products such as hair dyes, thus making the condition of your hair ten times worse, but recently i've found a dry shampoo that has blown my mind. Coming from a brand I wasn't really all that familiar with, the Richard Ward Keratin + 1 Day Dry Shampoo* (£5.99) is a dry shampoo containing ingredients such as keratin, the hairs natural protein to help rebuild hairs natural fibres, as well as rice powder and citrus extract to cleanse and leave the hair with a glossy finish. What I love about this dry shampoo is that it doesn't leave a horrid white cast over your hair that you can never seem to rub out, nor does it leave your hair feeling rough as sandpaper. Instead it works to soak up and oils, but leaves your hair looking glossy and refreshed as it would when you wash it.

Another product from Richard Ward that i've been really enjoying is the Richard Ward Anti Ageing Argan 10-in-1 Styling Spritz* (£) which contains a mixture of ingredients that provide ten different results including argan oil and aloe leaf that condition, protect, boost thickness, strengthen and restore lustre. I have been using this one damp hair just after washing, spraying in the mid to end lengths of my hair and the shine that this brings to my hair is unreal! It also really helps to dry my hair so much quicker and I don't really understand how, but it does and I don't know where i'd be without this product. 

The last product from Richard Ward is one i've struggled with a little, which is unfortunate as I really struggle with cleansing shampoos so I thought this one would finally be the one. They either dry your hair out to the point that you can get a brush through it, or they leave your hair so greasy that you have to rewash your hair and unfortunately the Richard Ward Cleanse & Condition Shampoo* did that latter for me. I thought this was quite a shame, as all of the other products that i've tried from this range have really wowed me but I guess not all hair products work for everyone! Having said that, I still highly recommend trying out this range of haircare products, as they stock so many products and i'm sure i'll be talking about some more products in the near future.
