Patisserie De Bain is a brand that is all about having fun, with the quirkiness of their products and injecting a bit of vintage flare into every one of their products. I love brands that have fun with their packaging, making it fun for their customer and their sweet scents are so nice to pick you up just when you need it!

When I first received this beautiful box I honestly thought it was a box of sweets, as the scents hit me before even opening the box and I then spent a good ten minutes smelling all of the products with my Mum as they were all so individual! One of the products they are best known for are their Bath & Shower Cremes and they kindly sent over their Sweet As Cherry Pie Shower Creme* (£3.99), which smells absolutely incredible and they definitely picked the best scent for me as I love anything cherry! I've been using this ever since I first received these products and it's amazing how soft this makes my skin feel, but also how amazing it makes my skin feel! 

A few other products i've seen a lot about is their hand products, and their Lemon Bon Bon Hand & Body Lotion* (£4.99) is absolutely divine! I don't usually use a body lotion, but as i'm starting to fake tan more i've been using this mainly on the areas where I suffer with dry skin to stop the tan going patchy, whilst also making my skin smell amazing and sort of helps to tone down the smell of my fake tan. Another product that I don't typically use is a bar of soap, mainly because I find them to be boring but their Strawberry Cupcake Soap* (£4.49) smells absolutely incredible and I cannot wait to crack this open once i've used up my current soap.

Finally a product i've wanted to try from Patisserie De Bain is their hand creams, and they kindly sent me a few different scents to try but my favourite has got to the be their Rhubarb & Custard Hand Cream* (£3.99) because I absolutely love rhubarb and custard sweets and this smells just like them. Hand creams is something that I've begun using more as i've gotten older and these are lovely on the skin, but also leave them smelling amazing!

Have you tried any products from Patisserie De Bain?

The past few weeks have definitely taken their toll on me and I haven't really been taking that much care of myself when it comes to the beauty side of things, I just don't have the patience for it all at the moment but I have found myself reaching for the same products for a few weeks now and some i've been quite surprised with.

Starting the makeup side of things and I haven't really been making that much of an effort with my makeup, I can't remember that last time I wore eyeliner but these few products have been life savers. The Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (£5.49) has been an absolute gem at just making me look so much more awake in the mornings. A quick sweep under the eyes, a little blending and i'm good to go. The Maybelline 24-hour False Lash Effect (£11.99) is a product that I initially hated because it was such a pain to remove but it's actually come in really handy as it has survived many tears over the past few weeks, and i've found a good oil cleanser removes it pretty easily. Lastly for makeup is the Topshop 'Morning Dew' Cream Blush (£7), which i've been turning to just to add a little colour back into my complexion and to make me look less washed out. I would highly recommend the Topshop cream blushers, they are my favourite.

Onto the more skincare/body products that i've been turning to recently, mainly for fighting the dry skin as this weather is drying my skin quite a bit still. The Dr Paw Paw Original Balm* (£6.95) is a product that i'd wanted to try for ages, but I never knew where to get my hands on it, so when this little sample arrived through my letter box I was quite excited. It is like no other balm that i've used, it's really heavy duty and it's also multi purpose which is great. I've been using this on my lips as I always have dry lips and i've really started to notice how much better they have been since using this, highly recommend! Lastly is a product i'd wanted to try for ages and I finally picked up a bottle a few days ago, and already I love it! The Vaseline Spray & Go Cocoa Radiant Body Moisturiser (£4.99) is like no other that i've used. I don't usually use body moisturisers because they take forever to soak in and I just don't have time for that, but this sinks in almost instantly. It's so light on the skin, but still provides the moisture that your skin needs and it smells incredible!

So those are a few products that i've been using quite a lot of recently!

What are your current go to beauty essentials?

With the Spring weather fully settled in not only are we switching our chunky sweaters for strappy tops, but we're also switching up the hair and body products ready for Summer. Yves Rocher is a brand that I have been loving over the last few months and their hair/body products are perfect for getting us girls ready for summer. 

Hair and body care has always been an important part of my beauty regime, but is something I also can slack on quite easily especially when it comes to hair styling products and body butters, some of us just don't have the time but with the help of these Yves Rocher products, they make tedious beauty regimes a thing of the past.

Starting with hair care, something that I don't share enough of even though i'm constantly trying out new products but i'm always on the hunt for a good shampoo that just cleans the hair and removes any product build up. The Yves Rocher Delicate Cleansing Cream* (£6.90) is an amazing shampoo that leaves my hair feeling not only clean, but also soft and silky. Usually cleansing shampoos are quite foaming, meaning that they dry out the hair but the formula of this is non foaming, which is an added bonus as it doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped or dry.

Following on from the cleansing cream i've been following up with the Yves Rocher Rinsing Vinegar* (£11.30), which I know doesn't sound very pleasant but this raspberry scented vingar is amazing for giving the hair that shine it often lacks. Now i've only used this a couple of times, but it is really gentle on the hair and leaves it looking shing and healthy.

Now these next two products can be used on both the body and the hair, which are great as multi tasking products are always life savers, especially when you have a busy schedule like me. The Yves Rocher Lagoon Hair & Body Wash* (£3.20) is a lovely yet gentle aloe infused product that is great for cleansing the hair but also lovely on the skin, leaving it feeling soft and clean. This is also great for travelling and i'll for sure be taking this on holiday with me. 

Lastly is a product that I have absolutely loved and is one that i've not used anything like before. The Yves Rocher Monoi Precious Dry Oil* (£14.90) is a lovely summery scented dry oil that i've been using on the ends of my hair to help eith my split ends, but it's also great for topping up and maintaining a tan. I've not had chance to test out how well this helps with a tan but the I can imagine the shimmer pigments really make a tan glow.

So those are a few products that i've been loving recently from Yves Rocher!

What products are getting you summer ready?

Kicking things off with a product that I think every beauty blogger has tried at least once, and this The Comforter (£4.75), which is one of my favourite bubble bars for their range. You probably already know how to use a bubble bar, but you basically crumble part of it under running water to create bubbles. I love the scent of this one and I like that you can get more than one use out of it.

One of my favourites from their Christmas range this year has to be the Dashing Santa, which smells incredible, quite zesty which was unexpected but I fell in love with it and i've gone through three so far! Another favourite from their Christmas range has to be Candy Mountain Bubble Bar, and again I love the scent of this one, as it smells just like Snow Fairy another favourite of mine (but I forgot to photograph it). I hope they bring both of these back next Christmas as I like them a lot! 

Next up is from their Valentines range, and this one is actually from last year so I was really happy to see that it has returned this year! The Love Locket (£6.95) is the cutest thing ever, as you break it up to reveal another mini heart inside - such a clever idea! I've gotten a fair few uses out of this as it is quite big and it fills your bath with lots of little glittery hearts, how romantic! 

Last from the image above we have the Magic Wand, another from their Christmas range. I can't remember if they brought it back this year, but I love the idea of swirling this in your bath and creating loads of bubbles. Mine is slowly on it's way out, but i've kept it going for quite a while now, and again another that smells just like Snow Fairy!

I mainly went in to see what Soap & Glory products they had left, but I wasn't holding out much hope as I knew a lot of things had already sold out but after perusing the aisles in my local Boots I saw the Soap & Glory Eau-La-La Gift Set (£16) hiding on some shelves right at the bottom (very sneaky Boots) and as it was reduced to less than £5 I knew I had to get it. It comes with minis of the Orangeasm Body Wash and Body Butter, and I think a full size of the Super Tonic, which I haven't tried so i'm happy to have that in my life. By the looks this is still available online, but you never know with their website when it comes to sales! 

Also whilst perusing around the main area of the shop, away from the sales I saw the Origins Mask Marvels Gift Set (£33.33) which was marked at £30 in store but rung up as £19.99 on the till, which I was more than happy to pay seeing as one of these masks costs £23! The set comes with the Drink Me Up Intensive Over Night Mask, the Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask (which I swear was called something else before) and the Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask. I've only ever used one of these before, so i'm really happy to now have these and so will my skin.

I also picked up a present for my Mum's birthday as all of the fragrance gift sets are 50% still, but I couldn't really blog about it incase she reads it as I don't want to spoil the surprise. However, my local Boots still had a lot of the fragrance gift sets, all half price, some even 70% off, so go check your local Boots out!

Did you manage to get any sale bargains?

A recent favourite of mine is their Whipped Clean Shower Butter (£7) which I use mainly as a shaving cream, as it lathers really well but leaves your legs feeling so soft after shaving, rather than dry and stripped. It also smells just like whipped cream, and is a scent that i've never really experienced before but it is lovely! It's also great as an in shower moisturiser if you're in a bit of a rush and won't have time to moisturise after showering.

When it comes to their body washes, i'm a big fan of the citrusy zesty scents and their recent addition the Orangeasm Body Wash (£6.50) is lovely. It's a really zingy orange scent that just smells incredible and the scent lingers all throughout the day. I just wish they did a body scrub in this scent! I also love their Sugar Crush Body Wash (£6.50), again this one is quite zingy as it smells of crushed sugar and lime, which is an odd but lovely combination. Again this scent lingers on the skin and I always get excited when I crack open another one of these, as i've gone through so many. I also love the packaging of this one, it's just so bright and pretty! 

Lastly is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub (£8), which is the only scrub that I have tried from their range but if you try only one, you've got to try this one. It smells just like the body wash, only a lot more zingy and refreshing. It looks and smells just like crushed brown sugar, but is also a great body scrub as it leaves the skin feeling so soft and smelling amazing. I've gone through a fair few of these and I always have a back up as I can't stand to be without it.

What are your favourite Soap & Glory products? - Leave some suggestions of any that I need to try!

This year Lush have bought back some cult classics such as Snow Fairy and Candy Mountain, but they've also bought out some new products, which are the ones that really caught my eye. First off I was torn between the santa bath bombs as they both smelled amazing, but I ended up going for Dashing Santa (£2.95). This one smells so nice with its hint of orange scent and I thought he looked so cute, I can't wait to give this a go. 

Next I picked up the Northern Lights (£3.50), after seeing this on Lush's instagram I knew I had to pick it up! I love that this a different shape to their usual bath bombs and it's aimed towards bonfire night. I can't wait to have a relaxing purple bath with this one. It also smells amazing! Lastly I picked up the Luxury Lush Pud (£3.50) after not being able to get my hands on it last year and really regretting it. I'm not a huge fan of the smell, but it's not that strong so I can get past that, but I just thought it looked so frigging cute! 

I could of easily bought the entire Halloween/Christmas range but I'll pop them on my Christmas list and hope Santa brings them to me. I also wanted to say that the girls in my local Lush store were absolutely lovely and really cheered me up, asking me all sorts about my blog and also giving me a few haircare samples to try out. So a big thank you to the Worcester Lush store for making my day!

Have you picked up any of the new Lush products?

I'd never really heard much about Skinny Tan, until I started seeing a few different reviews crop up here and there, and from what i'd heard I really wanted to give it a go, especially as they had been on Dragons Den.

What is different about Skinny Tan is that it's formula contains a natural tanning active that combines with natural skin smoothing actives that visibly tan, contour and also reduces the appearance of cellulite, which is where the name Skinny Tan comes from, and after hearing that I just knew I had to try it for myself.

The Skinny Tan Gradual Tanner* (£19.99) is like no other gradual tanner that I have used before, as the formula is actually really thick in comparison and little bit really does go a long way. I used the Skinny Tan Applicator Mit* (£4.50) to apply the product all over my body, and it says to leave for at least five hours to develop but I always leave gradual tanners to develop over night. I found that it sunk into my skin straight away, so I wasn't left feeling sticky and it meant I could get dressed straight after application. As you can see after one application it gives such an overall golden glow, that doesn't look orange or streaky and I love that this leaves you smelling of coconut, rather than biscuits like most gradual/fake tans do. As this product is designed to be used daily, I did apply again the following evening just to top up the colour and to make it last better. I also like that this doesn't wash off in the shower, you'd have to properly scrub to get it off.

The Skinny Tan After Glow* (£14.99), is designed to basically hydrate the skin by giving your skin a nice glow, whilst also helping to prolong your tan. I used this the following day, after showering just to help the tan along and even though the idea of the product is nice I just found it a little too sticky and it didn't really sink in throughout the day, but it did leave my skin looking glowing. I may whip this out when i'm on holiday, as I will probably be fake tanning whilst i'm out there and i'll want it to last well.

I really do love how I look when I have fake tanned and Skinny Tan definitely does make my skin appear smoother and firmer, as the formula contains active firming and toning ingredients. So this gets a huge thumbs up from me and I highly recommend it.

Have you used Skinny Tan before?

Usually i'll start by running myself a lovely hot bath, baths aren't my favourite but every now and then a good soak is exactly what I need. Usually i'd opt for a Lush bath bomb of some sort, but more so recently i've been using bath oils as I find that they provide the ultimate relaxation. I've had a few samples lying around, and i've loved using the Aromatherapy Associates Bath Oil and the Aroma Works Body Oil. Both of these give off such a soothing fragrance that puts in the ultimate relaxed mood, whilst also giving my skin the burst of moisture that it needs, leaving my skin feeling so soft.

Whilst in the bath I like to get down and gritty with a good scrub, and recently i've rekindled my love for the & Other Stories Punk Bouquet Body Scrub. This stuff isn't like your ordinary scrub, it lathers up really nice whilst also working to give my skin the scrub that it needs. This one also smells amazing, if you're ever able to pop in store make sure you give this a whiff.  Once i've had a good soak and done all the other bits and bobs that come with a bath, i'll crack out a body butter. At the minute The Body Shop Shea Butter has been my go to as I love the smell of shea butter and this leaves my skin feeling lovely, especially after giving them a shave. 

I'll then move onto skin, starting by giving my face a gentle cleanse using the Caudalie Gentle Cleansing Milk, one i've rekindled my love for recently. It just works to remove any kind of makeup without irritating the skin, and just gives an overall lovely cleanse. I'll then whack on a face mask, my favourite is the Origins Drink Up 10-minute Mask. I love this as it infuses moisture into my skin without having to faff around. I also really love the smell of this, it's like spreading apricot yoghurt all over my face haha!

So that is my quick mid week pamper, which is a lovely way of taking a break from a busy week.

What products do you opt for when having a good pamper?

Following on from my previous Shower Time Essentials (post here), I have since added to these essentials with my previous essentials still very much apart of my shower must haves. As you guys seemed to enjoy my last post about my essentials shower products, I thought why not try and make this a regular thing by updating my essentials every few months.

Ever since receiving the Concoction Rosemary + Mint Shampoo from my friend Jess for my birthday there has not been a shower where I have not used this product. Now, I was supposed to review this for you guys, but I spoke a little bit about how it works and the concept of this shampoo here. I love this shampoo, as it allows you to basically create your own shampoo. It really helps to nourish my hair and it leaves my hair smelling so refreshed from the subtle mint scent within the formula.

Another shampoo that I have been using non stop is the Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo, which I had been using way before the previous shampoo. As my hair is quite damaged this helps to basically give the damaged parts of my hair the moisture that it longs for and leaves my hair feeling so soft and smelling amazing!

In last months GlossyBox I received the Tresemme Platinum Strength 60-second Shot Treatment, which I have actually used up but I have been using this once a week as a conditioning treatment to the lower ends of my hair. You can get about 3 applications out of this tiny tube, which for £1.50 isn't too bad. I love how soft and conditioned my hair feels after using this and it is definitely one that I will be repurchasing again and again.

Lastly is another product I received as a birthday present from my friend Meg, the Beauticology: Gingerbread Body Wash. This came in a set of three different products and this one has made it's way into every shower I have. I love the smell of this stuff, it's like a sweet ginger scent that lingers on my body all day. I don't know why but this product get's me thinking of Christmas time, it's one of those spicy scents that everyone loves during the winter time.

What are your shower/bath essentials?

With the beautiful weather that has graced the UK recently, I have had my bare legs on show most days as it is has been far too hot to be covering them up, which has meant I have had to really keep up with making sure my legs are suitable to be on show. Now when it comes to hair removal there are plenty of options and different methods out there and I thought i'd just talk about my thoughts and experiences with them!

All in all shaving is my go to method of removing hair, it's what I have always done and I always have an endless supply of those cheap crappy razors, which some people don't really rate as it is easy to accidentally cut your legs whilst shaving but I get on just fine with them. Even though shaving is pretty easy to do, it only leaves my legs feeling smooth for about a day and I can get away with about two days in between shaving which is super annoying especially if i've fake tanned because shaving basically strips it off.

Believe it or not but I have never ever waxed, I don't know why but i've just never felt the need to I guess. I just don't like the idea of my hair being yanked out of legs, I mean plucking my eyebrows is painful enough! Also with waxing, you have to wait for your hair to grow to a certain length, which I just can't be dealing with. Maybe one day i'll give waxing a go but for now i'll opt for shaving.

Now I know what you're thinking, the smell! Yes, hair removal cream really does stink especially Nair but I found one by Veet that smells of Jasmine which isn't actually that bad. I don't normally opt for hair removal cream, but I have found it to work quite well. Just slap it on, leave it for three minutes and wash it off, job done.

I think every girl out there wishes that they can have laser hair removal, the thought of permanent hair removal just brings me excitement. For those who don't know laser hair removal is a safe and virtually painless way of removing unwanted hair and it works by using a laser beam that is aimed towards the base of the hair follicle and stops the hair growing. Laser hair removal is usually associated with celebrities, the Kardashians swear by it and just imagine having smooth, hairless legs for the rest of your life!

What methods do you use for hair removal?

Soap&Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - Boots (£8), Soap&Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash - Boots (£6.50), Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner - Boots (£4.99)

For a long time now the Sugar Crush Body Scrub by Soap&Glory has been apart of my shower routine. I use this mainly on my arms and legs to get my skin feeling and looking smooth especially if i'm planning on shaving my legs, it just really helps to remove any dry skin and it leaves my skin smelling amazing. 

Following on from the scrub, the Sugar Crush Body Wash also by Soap&Glory has been a part of my shower time routine for a while now. I use this literally every time I have a shower, applying a few pumps to my hands and lathering it up all over my body, it leaves my skin feeling so clean and smelling so refreshed with a nice hint of lime scent to my skin that lingers all day.

The third and final product that is an essential for me is the 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner by Aussie. The one I use is the reconstructor formula for damaged hair and I use this two-three times a week as an alternative to a conditioning mask as I find my hair can get greasy very easily and quickly when using those. Applying this to the lower ends of my hair and leaving for 3 minutes leaves my hair feeling so smooth and nourished with a lovely scent that I really can't try to describe but it is really nice.

What are your shower/bath essentials? 

So first off I popped into Wilkinson's just to see what they had, I love mooching in shops that sell everything then went into New Look and then to Primark, this is what I bought:

Radox Berry Burst Showergel: I picked this up from Wilkinson as it was on offer from £1, which I do need as I'm going to be staying with a friend whilst i'm in London I need to take my own showergel and I really liked the scent of this shower gel, it is exactly what it says on the packaging 'berry burst' and I love Radox bathing products they are so affordable and come in some really nice scents.

Rimmel True Match Foundation: Again I picked this up from Wilkinson as it had £2 off it and I noticed the other day that my current 'Wake Me Up' Foundation is not going to last me a month whilst in London and as so many bloggers are raving about this foundation I thought why not!? I bought this in shade True Ivory as they didn't have any Ivory bottles left but thank fully this shade does actually blend really well with my skin and isn't too dark.

Colgate Cavity Protection Toothpaste: This one is really simple, I literally have zero toothpaste so I was in need of a new tube and this was only £1 so I put it in my basket. Simples.

Johnson's Face Care Face Wipes: Again another really simple one, I'm running low of face wipes and these again were on offer for £1 (I think) and I've never tried out the Johnson's range of face wipes but I thought 'why not, they're on offer'. Good old Wilkinson!

Primark Floral Makeup/Wash Bag: I came across this really cute washbag in Primark and as i'm going to be taking a large bulk of makeup to London I was in need of a decent size makeup bag and this one seemed perfect and it was only £3.

Now I did also buy two necklaces from Newlook, but the one has broken already :( and the other I seem to have misplaced so I couldn't take any pictures of them but I will feature them in some outfit looks soon, promise!
