I've definitely been getting into a lot of new skincare recently, especially with the weather changing and even though i've been talking about skincare that i've been trialling recently, I haven't shared my recent skincare favourites in quite some time, so today i'm going to be sharing some skincare loves of the last few months.
Recently i've really stepped away from the facial oils as I found that they were making my skin even more dry than it was previously, which was the opposite of what I expected them to do and even though I still use facial oils on the odd occasion i've beally been focusing on other types of products aimed towards dry skin.
The first two products that have been a major factor in sorting out my skin has been the Yves Rocher Serum Vegetal Wrinkles & Radiance Day Cream* (£21) and the Yves Rocher Serum Vegetal Wrinkles & Radiance Night Cream* (£21). I've been using these in place of any other moisturisers, using the day cream in the morning, just before my primer and the night cream after cleasning, just before hopping into bed. I've been using these for a good few weeks now and so far i'm seeing amazing results! The day cream is so light but stills hydrates the skin so well and I find that my skin is less dry throughout the day also. On the flip side the night cream is a lot thicker, which is exactly what you'd expect from a night cream. Both products have really been revving up the moisture whilst also giving my skin an amazing radiant glow, and even though these products are aimed towards wrinkles, I find these types of products are so good for dry skin.
Another favourite that i've mentioned a few times on the blog but it has been another miracle product for my dry skin. The Weleda Skin Food* (£9.85) is an amazing mutli tasker that is aimed to any types of dry skin and not only have I been using this on my face but also on my elbows and other dry areas, as the water where I live ismwuite hard and harsh on the skin. I find using this at night to be the best option, as it's quite a thick consistency and it gives it time to do it's magic.
Going back to a few old favourites and firstly is Indeed Labs Hydraluron (£24.99), which is a long time favourite of mine and one I had neglected for a while. It's a great serum for dry skim and just instantly gives the skin that boost of hydration that it needs. Now this serum is one that you notice the difference when you stop using it, rather than when you are using it and it's definitely one that my skin loves. Another serum option that I really enjoy using is The Body Shop Aloe Protective Serum, which is aimed at dry but also sensitive skin so it's great for irritated skin. Now i've heard this has been discontinued so if you were wantimg to try it out, then try to grab it whilst you can!
So those are a few of my recent skincare favourites that I know i'll be loving throughout the coming summer months!
