New In: Topshop Aubrey Boots
October 05, 2013For the past two months or so I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of cut out boots for Winter and last week I found them in the form of some beautiful Topshop boots and I thought they were worthy of a post of their own! (Yes, I love them that much!)

So last week I was just happily scrolling through my Twitter feed to find a few people tweeting about the Topshop Aubrey2 Cut Out Boots and as soon as layed eyes on them I knew I had to have them! These boots are the second addition of the Aubrey Boots that Topshop brought out a few months back, which sold out pretty quickly and I knew i'd need to snap these up pretty quickly before they sold out again.
As you can see they are these beautiful black cut out boots with buckle look straps that actually just pop undone rather than having to fiddle for ages undoing them and then doing them back up again. They have quite a chunky heel, which I would say is around 3 inches high, but these are actually really comfortable to walk in and drive in (surprisingly), which I was slightly worried about to begin with but i'm so glad that I can last pretty much all day in these. I just love that they add a slight amount of toughness to an outfit, whether it be a cute floral dress or a pair of jeans with a jumper - they literally would go with anything (well maybe not a formal dress, but you get the idea).
Now, I know these boots are a little pricey and I did too slightly question the price but I know these boots are going to last a really long time. At the end of the day you do pay for quality plus I used my student discount on these so they did work out slightly cheaper, but for a staple winter boot I am very pleased with these!

they are beautiful and i love the cut outs but i feel like my feet would get really cold. maybe some cute little lace socks would help with that.
