What's on my Face #1

So this is my first ever 'What's on my Face' post and to be honest, originally I never wanted to start doing these kind of posts as I used to find them really boring but since getting more into blogging and enjoying these kind of posts more so, I thought i'd delve in and see if you guys liked them. 
This is the makeup I wore yesterday, as I took a last minute trip up to Merry Hill to get a few bits and bobs that I can't get my hands on in my local town centre. This look is basically my everyday makeup look, but I decided to add a bold lip just to mix it up a little.

I started off by applying my favourite primer at the minute and that is the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer, I love this as it makes my foundation stay put so well throughout the day. I then applied my new Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation, using my RT Face Expert Brush. As this was the first time using this foundation, I was pretty impressed and the colour match worked out quite well, even if this is the palest shade. As I don't use concealer, I went straight in with setting my foundation using the Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder, my holy grail setting powder. I then went in with bronzer, blush and highlight using the Soap & Glory Powder Trip Set, i'm so glad I got my hands on this! 

I then moved onto my brows using the HD Brows 'Foxy' Palette, using my RT Brow Brush and using the two brown shades and mixing them together I have found creates the perfect brow look. Then onto eyes, I started off by lining under my upper lashes (I don't know what that area is called) using the Rimmel Soft Kohl Pencil Eyeliner, I love this stuff but I might delve into the Scandal Eyes Pencil as i've heard some great things about them. I then took the Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner and lined my upper lash line adding a wing effect to the end, which i've been opting for a lot more recently. I then went in with my Collection Multiplier Mascara, which if I remember rightly I managed to poke myself in the eye with, why does this always happen?! Finally to finish off the look I added a bright lip using the MAC Girl About Town Lipstick, my newest MAC purchase. I did blend out the lipstick a little after taking the photo above, just to neaten it up a bit.

So that is my first WOMF, I quite enjoyed writing this one and I hope you guys liked it also.

    Love your lipstick! My makeup never changes (what kind of beauty blogger am I?!) but I hope to change it up a bit once I get more of a 'collection' haha.

      i'm the same, my makeup always looks pretty much the same. I just use different products to create the same look ha x

    Absolutely love the makeup look! You're so pretty! That S&G palette is adorable, and looks great for travelling because everything is together! Girl about Town is my favorite Mac lipstick! It is just so beautiful!
