Now can I just say, I didn't really buy much as I could have purchased plenty more! For those of you who have never been to the Oxford St store then just so you know it is huge and so overwhelming I couldn't take it all in and Miss Selfridge is attached to it and you can walk between the stores, this blew my mind. I was like a kid in a sweetshop! 

Anyway, the first thing I picked up was the Moto Black Jeans, now I have been needing a new pair of these as my previous pair had faded really badly and had shrunk from the washing so it was only right that I got another pair as they fit perfectly and last such a long time which reflects the £38 price tag which I can justify hence why I always go back to Topshop for all of my jeans! 

The next thing I picked up was the Oh My Love Black Fluffy Jumper, now on the bottom floor (I think) they have shoes and then a massive 'Brands at Topshop' area which was huge and they had all the brands that are available online and what looked like more but I can't be sure. Now Jess and I both picked up this jumper we were in awe, it's so so soft and it comes in black, white and bright pink, now me being me I chose the black because black goes with everything whereas Jess chose the white! When I tried this on it was so static, you could hear it every time you moved and it stuck to my body like a bodycon top would but this didn't put me off for some reason and the static seems to have subsided which is even better and I am so glad I bought this. I may wear this for my first day tomorrow.. maybe.

Now at this point I was like 'get me out of this shop before I buy anything else' so we headed to the tills, where they had plenty of products to entice a last minute buy and of course I noticed the  3-Notebook Pack but I am glad I picked these up as I was silly enough to not pack any stationary and 3 notebooks for £4 isn't really that bad, the world isn't going to end!

So that's my Topshop haul, for now. No doubt I will pick up a few other things seeing as I am going to be on Oxford Street everyday!

Shoes, us girls can never have too many shoes can we!

I'm forever trolling through online websites, literally in awe at all the beautiful shoes that I know I can't have as my bank balance wouldn't be too happy but it's always nice to window shop or screen shop in my case.

I'm currently lusting over so many shoes at the moment, I love finding that pair of shoes that I know I can wear in so many ways with so many different outfits and paying that little bit more on better quality shoes really does ensure the durability and how long the shoes last.

Anyway onto the shoes, I'm currently really loving so many shoes from Topshop starting with these black suede platform heels, how beautiful are they?! I love Topshop heels, they are so sophisticated and last such a long time, totally worth the price tags sometimes! The next pair from Topshop are the black woven front loafers, I have seen these shoes featured on a fair amount of blogs and I love love love a good pair of loafers and these look like they would be so comfy and easy to throw on with any outfit! The last pair from Topshop are the white cutout peep toe flats, they did a very similar pair last spring/summer and I was gutted when I wasn't able to pick up any as my size sold out :( So I'm determined to get my hands on these, they will be so cute for the warmer summer days!

The next pair of shoes from Shoeaholics are the black floral platform wedges by KG Kurt Geiger and yes they are only £29!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these, they are beautiful and I want them so much!! The final pair of shoes are the mint brogues from ASOS, as I don't really own any bright coloured shoes I thought this was an odd choice for me but I honestly really like these especially the colour. I think they would be perfect to add a pop of colour to an outfit without throwing on a scarf or something.

So many shoes, so little time (and money).

As i'm sure many of you know the monochrome trend is making a comeback this spring/summer season from all the monochrome styles seen at LFW and all over the magazine trends sections recently and I can't help but look at my winter wardrobe and want to start preparing it ready for the trends this summer, as summer is my favourite season from the light airy pastel shades and delicate floral prints that always seem to creep back into our lives every year! 

Now monochrome isn't something I would have ever associated with summer as I think 'black in summer, no no' but it seems the monochrome trend could easily be adapted with lighter weight and coloured fabrics with accents of black detailing and prints.

As a massive lover of Topshop I thought it would only be right to see what they're take on the monochrome trend would be like and see what they had to offer us on trend fashionistas! 

Starting with the beautiful striped skater dress, you could easily throw this on in the day with a cute pair of sandals and you're ready to go or you could dress it up in the evening with some chunky jewellery and heels as it is such a versatile and statement piece. Next onto the t-shirt dress, how cute is this!? Seriously, I could just throw this on over a body con mini skirt or a pair of shorts and I would feel ultrafab and super comfy all day long. Now the striped sleeveless vest again would be a great statement and staple piece as it so versatile just like the skater dress, you could wear it for so many different occasions and create so many different looks throughout the summer months. Like I said about the floral prints, I love what Topshop have done with the blazer, the mixing of the two trends works so well and this would be perfect on the cooler summer days where you could do with a jacket to throw on. Again the short sleeved t-shirt is perfect for those casual day to day outfits and could be worn in so many ways, tucked into high waisted shorts or worn loose over a bodycon mini. Finally the shoes! Aren't these so adorable but still fierce! Every girl needs a new pair of heels or two for the summer months especially as nights out are more on the cards as the nights are so much warmer than the winter ones!

 River Island - So from River Island I picked up this amazing coat which was in the sale section but with no sale tag so I wasn't sure if it was the sale but thankfully it was and it was the last one! It was reduced from £70, to £40 which I thought was really good and as I returned the coat I previously bought from ASOS I needed to find another, so great bargain!

Primark - From Primark I just picked up a few essentials as I was in need of some new tights for work and some black socks as all of mine have for some reason gone missing so I picked up those and whilst we were in Primark I ended up looking in the Pj section and ended up buying these two really nice floral pj bottoms which for £5 each I couldn't resist and they are so soft and comfy! They also will come in handy for when I am down in London as I don't really own many pj items, especially to last me a month!

Savers - So we popped in Savers for Ambers benefit and I ended up picking up a couple of items but I love Savers because you really do save money compared to if I was to buy these items from Boots or Superdrug. Anyway, I firstly picked up the cherry Carmex which I literally ran to when I saw it as they had a good range of stuff and I am in need of new Carmex. Then next to the Carmex range they had a nice little Nivea stand and if any of you saw my payday wishlist you will have seen that I wanted to get the Nivea Express Hydration Primer for dry skin which was only £3.59 and it was the last pot so I grabbed it off the shelf and headed to the tills before I bought anything else!

As you can see I picked up a fair amount of things, but today was payday and I didn't actually spend a lot. So first of all we went to Boundary Mills which is a big outlet store that sells mainly clothes but also home wares and furniture. I picked up this really cute wash bag which was reduced to £12, I thought would be really handy for when I am down in London for my placement as I am crashing at my friends flat whilst I am there and I could keep all my toiletries all neat and organised. I also picked up the two packets of Wonka Nerds which I love!! They were by the counter when I went to pay which were £2.70 each which I thought was fairly good as nerds are normally around £4 a box!

Next we went to Ikea, as we are moving house later this year we decided to start looking at furniture to get idea's as I am looking to buy everything brand new for my room as my current furniture isn't going to fit. Anyway, whilst we were there I picked up the two drawer sets which I have had my eye on for ages as I am looking for way to store my makeup and nail varnishes and I thought these would be perfect! I also picked up the floral duvet set as I thought it was really cute and was only £15, bargain!!

Finally onto my ASOS order, which I have been quite excited to receive as I've had my eye on these two items for a while. The first was the mint jumper which I first saw featured on Tilly - Jane's blog (go check her out if you haven't already) and I have liked it ever since and seeing as mint isn't normally a colour I would wear I knew that I had to have it, so seeing as ASOS were offering the student discount for 48 hours I took full advantage and ordered the jumper there and then! The second thing I ordered was the coat, as I am going on placement for a month I'm going to need a few coats to get me through the cold walks down Oxford Street. I seem to be loving khaki coats lately and this one is so nice but it is a little big so I may return it and order a size 8.. not sure yet! haha.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a good monday and are enjoying the snow. My day has been a little different, as part of my styling project for uni my group and me were to put together a photo shoot for our supplement magazine 'Beat.' and this took place today. I wanted to share a few sneak peeks of some of the looks that we styled together and to just show you what I get up to at uni.

From the title you can kind of tell the concept of this shoot is based around hip hop, which it is but we were going for the androgyny hip hop type of feel to update and put a modern twist on typical androgyny.

I hope you guys like seeing these type of posts as I feel they different from the my previous posts and something I haven't really showed you before.
