As i'm continuously trying to switch up my content, I thought it would be fun to incorporate areas of my life that I don't generally share much on this little space of the internet, and one thing that I get a lot of enjoyment and motivation out of is music. I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favourite playlist's on Spotify to introduce you to some new artists, and some new listening material for when you're next working out or taking a long drive.

For those who aren't familar with Spotify, it is essentially a music service that you pay for to listen to hours of endless music from your favourite artists an pretty much any tablet, mobile or computer device. For me personally Spotify is one of my most used apps and with it offering student discount it's a no brainer for me to pay £4.99 a month when I get as much use out of it as I do.

Since I began starting using Spotify I have always turned to the playlists that they generate based on all different genres of music, as it's the easiest way to see what new songs are being released or being are getting a lot of play time, and in turn I have discovered so many artists that I probably wouldn't of if it weren't for Spotify. So here a few of my current favourite playkists, of which I may update as and when I discover any new ones.

Workout playlists - Since getting back into the gym i've been turning to their workout section which has a big variety of playlists depending the type of music you like, the type of exercise you're doing and even the type of motivation you are wanting. A favourite of mine has got to be Rap Workout, which is essentially a mixture of rnb and rap as that is my favourite genre of music but they have some songs with a good beat to really push you during your workouts. I also have been listening to Beast Mode when i'm really wanting to push myself during a good cardio session as it's good to really motivate you when your lagging. If like me you live a good bit of music to motivate you then I'd definitely recommend checking out their workout playlists as they are bound to have one or two that suit your taste.

RnB playlists - As I mentioned I love anything rnb, and if you're like me then you'll no doubt love This Is How We Do which has a mixture of hip hop, rnb and rap from well known artists to upcoming artists and is my most listened to playlist. If you're more of a rap and grime listener then Rap Caviar is another favourite of mine, especially as I love a bit of Drake, Future and Kendrick Lamar. I personally enjoy listening to these playlists when i'm taking a long drive as I can give them a good listen, and they help to pass the time. Again they have a massive range of playlists within both the rnb and hiphop section to choose from.

Easy listening - Whilst i'm at work, or when i'm having a good tidy session I like to have a bit of background music that's easy to listen to but isn't too distracting as I tend to listen to music to motivate me when i've got a big to do list to complete. A firm favourite of I think most Spotify users is the UK Top 50 Chart, which is pretty self explanatory but it has a good variety of different genres and really helps to pass the time. Lastly a playlist that I always give a listen to is the Discover Weekly, which is actually tailored to you based on artists you listen to, and each week Spotify pull together a bunch of songs they think you will like. It can be a bit hit and miss, but i've discovered some really good artists and one off songs thanks to that playlist.

What playlists do you like to listen to on Spotify?

As some of you probably know, I spent this weekend just gone in a the middle of a field, in a tent with a bunch of strangers and some pretty awesome music. Yes, I went to V Festival and it was my first proper camping festival. I had such a good time and I wanted to share with you guys.

On Friday my friend Megan and myself packed up my little car and headed up to Stafford for this years V Festival and we had a splendid time, although pitching the tent was somewhat hilarious and provided a good half hours entertainment.

Not much happened on Friday night, other than me acquiring a strangers kimono and a flare being set off in one of the arena tents. Saturday was the more chilled out day of the two, as there weren't many people that we wanted to see so we headed in for Jess Glynn and Sam Smith, who were really good! We then headed back to the tents to change as it was baltic, and to top up on drinks of course. After a few hours of chilling we headed in for the evening to catch Rudimental, who were insane and then waited it out for The Killers who put on such a good set.

Sunday was a different story, I was woken up at 6am by rain and I thought it was going to tip it down all day but I somehow managed to get sunburnt.. my SPF foundation failed me big time. We packed up our tent early in the morning, loaded up the car and then headed back to the arena for the better line up out of the two days. It tipped it down during Bastille, but luckily it stopped for Example and he didn't disappoint, and I fangirled a little. Ed Sheeran was incredible and I can't wait to see him in October and then on came Justin Timberlake. He finished off an incredible weekend and I was definitely the only person around me who had listened to his new album but I was loving life, singing away to TKO.

We left a little early to avoid the horrendous traffic and headed home. For my first proper festival, sleeping on the rock hard floor, living off sausage rolls and eating cereal bars for breakfast, it really was an experience. I have seen witnessed some things I never want to see again, festivals really do bring out a different side in people but it was all worth it for an amazing weekend.

Did any of you go to V Festival?

As some of you may know, I went to the last day of Wireless yesterday in Birmingham's Perry Park and I thought i'd share with you guys a few snaps from the day. I've attended Wireless for the last four years, and this is first year they have ever done it in Birmingham so for me it was so much convenient as Birmingham is just down the road from me, rather than trekking it all the way up to London.

I went with my friend Abbie (spot the bright orange wellies), and we were supposed to attend both Friday as well as Sunday but after Drake cancelled his appearance we decided to get a refund, as we were only going to mainly see Drake, and from what I heard i'm glad we didn't go as it apparently chucked it down with rain.

I tried to keep it quite casual with my outfit, and I wasn't really able to get many decent photos. The main part of my outfit was my Tie Dye Kimono by Jess Irwin Clothing, she specialises in handmade tie dye pieces so go check her out. I then wore a Topshop Trim Lace Skirt, with a H&M White Crop Top and my Asos Black Boots.

We spent most of the day at the main stage, as we wanted to see the majority of the acts who were performing with the occasional stroll over to the other tents in between sets. Iggy was the first act who I really wanted to see and she was so good, I really need to get round to giving her album a listen. Tinie Tempah was unreal, so humble and to top it all off Gary from Geordie Shore was in the crowd and he created a sea of people on shoulders. Pharrel was pretty decent, he was alright to dance along to and chill out to before Kanye came on.

At this point it had gone a little cold, so we headed over to the crepe stand where we devoured a nutella crepe and I grabbed a hot chocolate to warm myself up. Then enter Kanye, he was sick but I was expecting a little more from him but he didn't give this 'rant' that everyone moaned about at the London shows, in fact he wasn't his asshole self what so ever, which I think a lot people expected. Even so he was amazing and totally ended Wireless on a high.

Did any of you go to Wireless this year?

As most of you will know I have been at Wireless Festival this weekend, well Friday and Saturday with my friend Megan dancing our asses off and i've lost my voice from all the singing but I had the most amazing couple of days and I thought i'd share a small selection of snaps from the two days.

I cannot put into words how amazing this weekend was! I got to see so many acts that I have been wanting to for such a long time such as Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Iggy Azalea, Jay Z, Calvin Harris and so many more. I even went to my first silent disco and loved it that much we went again on the second day! The weather also played a huge role in the weekend with the sun making an appearance but luckily i've hardly burnt, trusty factor 50 was on my side!

You can see a small selection of videos on my instagram also, if you're interested.

I wanted to keep this post short and sweet but updates will be back to normal this coming week as i'm not working all that much next week.

As many of you know I love going to gigs from small intimate gigs to bigger arena gigs and last night I went to see the goddess that is Beyonce! My friend Meg had a spare ticket which she offered me a few weeks ago and of course I said yes after not being able to afford tickets when they went on sale earlier in the year. As it was such a good night I thought i'd share a few snaps I took from the night!

Yesterday afternoon Meg and myself travelled up to Birmingham which is just under an hour from where I live, driving up the M42 singing along to Beyonce amongst other artists to get us in the mood for the show. Last night was Beyonce's second date at The LG Arena and luckily Meg had managed to get some really good seats which for me was very strange as I'm so used to standing at gigs now, but we stood for the majority of it but it allowed us to have a little rest from the dancing between outfit changes and we had a really good view of both the main stage and the smaller stage which she performed a few songs on mid way through the gig.

Even though Beyonce told us at the beginning of the gig that she wasn't feeling too great she put on such a great show, with such a wide variety of songs including the well known 'Survivor' from her Destiny's Child days which the crowd loved and a new song which you can only hear in full if you go to her shows so that was a nice addition to the show. Everything was amazing, the dancing, the atmosphere and oh my god her voice! I don't want to talk about it too much just incase any of you are going to one of her shows on this tour but if you've got tickets to this tour I promise you that you will not be disappointed!

I have a few new posts lined up next week which I will hopefully be able to post before going to Cardiff from Thurs - Sun, but I hope you are all well and are enjoying the warmer weather!

xx
