The Maybelline 'Mint for Life' Nail Polish is this lovely mint green shade, as you can probably tell from the name of this shade and in my eyes is probably the nicest mint nail varnish I have ever owned although I still have my eyes on Essie's 'Mint Candy Apple'.

I've been wearing this on and off ever since I bought it a few weeks ago and I can honestly say I love the everything about this nail varnish. It applys really easily with a wider brush that covers the whole nail in one brush stroke and it dries super quickly. As it is described as a gel nail varnish it is kind of thicker than your typical nail varnish meaning you only need two coats max to get a really nice coverage that lasts for such a long time. I think i've managed 5 days so far without any chips and that was without a top coat!

This shade is also perfect if you want to brighten up your nails, especially as bright/pastel colours are very on trend this summer as always. All in all i'm pretty impressed and i'm tempted to get a few more of these Maybelline Super Stay nail varnishes.

Have you tried this nail varnish yet?

From one of their most recent collections the Ice Neon Collection, Models Own 'Bubblegum' is this beautiful neon pink that dries with a lovely matte finish and adds a lovely pop of colour to any outfit. I find I only need to apply a couple of coats to my nails and it dries super quickly making the task of painting my nails very effortless and I find this to last really well on my nails. I love this nail varnish as a way of rocking the neon trend we are seeing everywhere this summer, but in a somewhat subtle way.

So the shade I picked up was 'Island Coral' which as you can see is a really pretty orangey coral shade, perfect for summer and I have been trying to find a shade like this for so long but I have always been disappointed in other coral shades as they just appear really tacky to me, but not this one. I really like the light orange shade to this nail polish as it adds a nice pop of colour that isn't too 'in your face' but it's noticeable enough which is perfect for me as I love using my nails as a way of adding colour to and outfit.

The durability of this nail polish has actually really surprised me, as these nail polishes are priced at £1.99 you don't expect them to be that great but the durability is a lot better than some of my higher priced nail varnishes. I've had my nails this colour for about 3 days now and it has only just started to chip and as I rushed with painting my nails I didn't apply a base coat, which is amazing in my eyes. Although I will say that I find this polish quite thin like most orange shades of nail varnish, so i'd say you would need to apply a few good coats of this to get a good coverage.

Overall i'm really impressed with this Sinful Colors nail polish and I definitely want to try out some other shades as they have a massive range of different shades that I haven't come across before and for £1.99 you can't go wrong!

Have you tried out the Sinful Colors nail polishes yet?

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend before you go back to college or university on Monday.

As I don't have work over the next week I decided to take advantage of this and paint my nails as I can't wear nail varnish for work (booo) so I thought I would share with you my 'nails of the day'!

I used the OPI Start to Finish as a base and topcoat, the Topshop Nail Varnish in shade 'Easy Breezy' for the main colour and then added some glitter to my third finger on both hands using the Barry M Nail Varnish in  shade 'Diamond Glitter' and the Collection Bedazzled Effects Nail Varnish in shade 'Glittersweet' as I am still in a festive mood, even if Christmas is over as we took our tree down today, sigh.

Also I apologise for the bad quality photos, as it is getting dark outside my phone isn't capturing the light very well and my digital camera doesn't like to focus. I may start using my stepdads camera which is either a Nikon or Canon but either way the quality is a lot more better than my phone.

What are you favourite nail brands to use?
