Following on from my Last Minute Valentines Gift Guide I thought it would be a fun idea to do a Valentines style GRWM, as i've never done one before and I wanted to do something a little different to my usual WOMF posts. Now if you are celebrating Valentines Day with some special then this may give you a few tips when it comes to your makeup look or if you're a happy independent women, who wants to doll themselves up or treat themselves to some nice underwear, then you will also enjoy this.

Kicking things off with a little pamper, i've picked out a few bits from my Lush stash including a few bits from their new Valentines Collection. Using both the Floating Flower (£3.50) and Unicorn Horn (£3.25) to make my bath that extra bit special and also to leave my smelling amazing! Once i'm out of the bath I take the Shimmy Shimmy Shimmar Bar (£4.95) and run this over my skin to soak in and also give me a lovely subtle glow.

Once i've had a little pamper and have also done a mini skincare routine (cleanse, serum and moisturise - nothing fancy) I will then obviously get dressed. Now as it's Valentines, us girls have to make a little of effort in the underwear department, no granny pants and ill fitting bra's girls. I recently picked up this gorgeous set from M&S of all places, as they have some really lovely matching sets in there at the moment and a few you can mix and match. I picked up the Autograph Scallop Lace Bra (£22.50) and the Autograph Scallop Lace Thong (£9.50) to match and i'm really happy with the set, it's so flattering and also probably the nicest underwear set that I have ever owned! Now I haven't quite figured out what i'm wearing on Valentines, as my Boyfriend and me are just going for a curry so we'll probably keep it quite casual and i'm no fashion blogger so no awkward outfit poses from me today unfortunately. 

Moving onto fragrance and a recent addition to my collection is Yves Rocher Quelques Notes d'Amour L'eau de Parfum* (£18), which is a lovely fragrance. Yves Rocher, the creators of botanical beauty was founded in 1959 on the mantra of creating beauty through plants accessible to all woman. Now I suck at describing fragrances, but this is quite a seductive musky fragrance with a fruity undertone that smells incredible and not like any that i've previously owned. I also love the bottle design of this and it's small enough to throw in my hand bag for on the go touch ups. Finally onto the makeup and hair look, which took me a little while to put together as I wanted to use products that gave me a slightly different look and of course a red lip is necessary on Valentines. I kept things simple with my base and used my favourite Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream (£9.99). Onto the cheeks and here I used the Topshop 'Morning Dew' Cream Blush (£7) I just love the pink pop this gives and then went in with a light contour using The Body Shop Honey Bronzer (£13). Brows were quick and easy, using my two go to brow products the HD Brows 'Foxy' Kit (£25) and then using Benefit Gimme Brow (£17.50) to set them in place. For eyes I used my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (£38), which I haven't used in ages and I thought it would be nice to dig it out. I can't quite remember which shades I used but I was going for a subtle smokey eye with a hint of pink in there and I really like how it turned out. I then lined my eyes with the Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner (£2.99) and applied the new Benefit Roller Lash to my lashes. So far i'm loving this mascara as it gives my lashes some great length without having to curl or apply false lashes. To finish everything off I went with the Topshop 'Rio Rio' Lipstick (£8), which is this lovely bright red shade and I love it! For my hair I just used my straighteners to add some soft waves, but this look would also look great with some soft curls.

I've got to admit, when it comes to makeup brushes I will always recommend the Real Techniques brushes with out fail. They are of really good quality, they are very affordable and have a huge variety of brushes for all different things. When I heard that about their new Bold Metals Collection, I just knew I had to get my hands on them and I thought i'd do a mini review/first impressions post all about them.

When I first heard about this collection I was really excited, as Real Techniques hadn't really added any new brushes to their main collection, other than limited edition sets so I was excited to see what they would do differently. Of course when I heard the price to go along with this new collection, even I questioned whether to pick them up or not but after hearing some rave reviews I picked up the two brushes I thought would benefit me the most.

As soon as I set eyes on the 301 Flat Contour Brush (£22) I knew that I needed to add this to my collection, as I don't have a brush anything like it in my collection and I knew i'd get a lot of use out of it. As the name suggests this brush is best used for contouring, as the brush shape allows you to really get into the hollows of your cheeks to give a defined and precise contour. So far I love this brush and had replaced all previous brushes that i've used for contouring, if you were to get one brush from this collection, this is the one to get!

I also picked up the 100 Arched Powder Brush (£25) as I preferred the look of this compared to the Tapered Blush Brush as it's slightly bigger and I thought it would work great for both blush, powder and contour if needed. I've been using this brush for blush mainly and so far i'm enjoying it but I do find it's a little big but the shape of the brush makes applying blush really easy. I wouldn't say this brush is overly needed if you already own a fair few blush brushes but it is lovely to have, especially as it's gold.

I love these brushes mainly for how luxurious they look and I love the rose gold brushes especially, I LOVE rose gold at the moment! I also like that they are weighted compared to the brushes in their main collection as it just adds to the luxuriousness of them. I really do want to try out the other brushes within the collection, but my bank account won't allow it for a few more months just yet.

As i'm a bit late with the gift guide, I decided that it would be fun to show some ideas for last minute Valentines gifts. The majority of these presents are aimed at the woman in your life, as us girls usually have it down when it comes to buying gifts in time but girls if you haven't there is something for our men also.

I really like this fragrance and the bottle design is just gorgeous.

Another option when it comes to Valentines presents is of course Pandora, as every girl nowadays either owns a Pandora or has their eye on one of their beautiful rings. My boyfriend got me the Pandora Delicate Heart Ring (£35) for Christmas and I love it! They have a huge selection of lovely rings and charms, also their Valentines Collection is to die for and you are bound to find something for the girl in your life. One thing to always remember when it comes to Valentines Day is of course a card and some couples just do cards, especially if they've been together a while. I picked up this really cute Sparkle Boyfriend Card (£1.49) from Card Factory of all places. They have a huge range of designs, some soppy and some quirky yet cute designs if you're not one for soppy cards, like myself and all of their cards are also really affordable.

Last but not least is of course something from Yankee Candle and you honestly can't go wrong as every girl loves a good smelling candle. I recently picked up the Sweet Strawberry Candle (£14.99), which is currently reduced at it is 'fragrance of the month' and all Yankee stockists are selling this reduced throughout the month of February! Yankee also do a massive selection of candles, so you are bound to find one that your loved one will like and i'd be pretty happy with one for Valentines.

This week has been a pretty good week, although it's been a bit draining and my gym routine has fallen off the wagon, it's been decent. As you can see i'm continuing on from last Sunday's Summary as i'm sharing some more yummy food with you guys!

With payday rolling in last Friday and the work girls wanting a night out away from the stress at work, we decided some good food, soon followed by some yummy cocktails was the way to go. Also in the midst of planning this little night out, Jen found out that she had gotten the job she had interviewed for the week earlier, to work in the events department of where we currently work, which made Friday the perfect time to celebrate.

Putting the stressful and tiring day at work behind us, we got ourselves dressed up and headed down to a lovely little Italian restaurant called Valentino's. I'd personally never been before, but with Italian food being my favourite, I was keen to try out the menu and i'd heard some great things about their bruschetta starters, which was delicious and their calzone pizzas are unreal - I was stuffed and ready to burst.

We ended the night in a bar, sipping on cocktails and watching all the middle aged let loose and bust some rather embarrassing moves, after all it was a Friday night and you can't say no the Macarena!

Other than that, i've been preparing for my job interview which is nearing in and i'm actually quite excited and optimistic, but i'm not going to get my hopes up too much. I also hit 2,300 Bloglovin' and 700 Instagram followers this week, so a big thank you to every one of you who is following - it means so much!
