Festival Fashion Picks
May 30, 2013
I've finally finished uni for the summer, yayyyy! With festival season just around the corner and as i'm going to Wireless Festival i've started to gather outfit ideas as i'm going for two days, so I need to make sure i've got some really cool but comfortable outfits sorted as I can never pack light and this is where this post has come from. I thought i'd share a few of my outfit idea's so far and maybe get you guys inspired a little if you're going to any festivals.
Dress - ASOS, Bag - ASOS, Sandals - Topshop, Ring - Shop Dixi, Ring - Shop Dixi, Necklace - Topshop |
This first outfit is more of a grungy style of outfit with the festival classic statement tie-dye piece and somewhat tough but still cute accessories! The dress I thought would be perfect, seeing as it is oversized it will be comfortable throughout the day and if it goes off chilly during the night a simple leather jacket could be thrown on and would still work really well. I've been lusting over these sandals for a few weeks now (and I may just treat myself on payday) and I thought they would work so well with this dress and the simple black satchel would also work great seeing as you're not going to be carrying much and will tie in with the sandals. The simple triangle necklace and cute urban rings would finish off this look, staying with the cute yet grungy feel of this outfit.
I'm actually considering this outfit, seeing as it's quite affordable and would work so well for a chilled out festival look.
Dress - Miss Guided, Bag - New Look, Boots - Topshop, Necklace - Topshop, Kimono - Topshop (Motel) |
This outfit is a more fun girly style outfit but again with a somewhat grunge type feel coming through from the accessories. I spotted this dress on Miss Guided and instantly fell in love with it, skater style baby doll dresses are so cute for summer and teaming with the floral Motel kimono to add a small pop of colour. Of course the Topshop Arabel boots were going to make an appearance in one of these looks and I think they would compliment this outfit so well by adding a little grunge feel and the tassel backpack would just add to this. Finishing this off with a simple gold bar necklace and tadah!
I also love this outfit, I like how it has a somewhat girly yet grunge feel that looks super cute and summer ready.

Top - Topshop, Shorts - ASOS, Sandals - River Island, Necklace - Topshop, Bracelets - Topshop |
With this outfit I was going for a more casual minimal look, but adding something with more statement accessories. A simple oversized grey tee tucked into high waisted levi's is the most obvious festival style outfit but works really well. Teamed with a statement necklace and heavy bangles adds something to this outfit and then finishing it off with these beautiful studded gladiator sandals from River Island, perfect!
If the weather is actually pretty decent I would so consider this outfit, it's really minimal but as you know I love my statement necklaces so this would suit me so well.
I hope you enjoyed this post, especially as I haven't really done any fashion posts recently.. I need to get back to the fashion side of this blog haha!
Hope you're all well!
