Sale and Christmas Money Buys

January 02, 2014

Following on from yesterdays post I thought i'd get this post up before I started my 'Best of 2013' series as they are going to take over my blog for a good week. Moving on, I haven't really done that much sale shopping as the sales have been pretty rubbish this year, so I decided to spend the majority of my Christmas money on things I actually liked rather than random sale junk.
Soap & Glory Powder Trip Set - Boots (Sold Out), Soap & Glory You Do The Bath Gift Set - Boots (Sold Out)
Lush Comforter - Lush (£4.50), Lush Dragons Egg - Lush (£3.25), MAC Girl About Town Lipstick - MAC (£15), Ted Baker Small Wash Bag - Ted Baker (£18 - sale price)
Topshop Petite Jumper - Topshop (Sold Out)
Topshop Moto Borg Biker Jacket - Topshop (£35 - sale price)
Topshop Blue Black Leigh Jeans - Topshop (£38), Topshop Black Leigh Jeans - Topshop (£38)
Topshop Navy Fluffy Jumper - Topshop (£29)
Topshop Knitted Cable Jumper - Topshop (£46)

Starting off with bath and beauty bits, it was obvious I was going to attempt to get my hands on some more Soap & Glory bits even though I received quite a lot for Christmas. On Boxing Day, we stopped off at a Boots after begging my parents and I managed to bag the Soap & Glory Powder Trip Set, which contains three powders from their makeup range which i've wanted to try for ages. This set was reduced to £10, so I paid less than I would for one, for these three! I also picked up the Soap & Glory You Do The Bath Set, as it was reduced and I hadn't received any of these products for Christmas.

Whilst in Plymouth I decided to pop into Lush, but unfortunately all of the sale goodies had gone but I decided to pick up a few bits with my Christmas money as I had used up all my other bath bombs. The first thing I picked up was the Dragons Egg Bath Bomb as I loved the smell and i've never tried this bath bomb before. I also got myself one of The Comforter Bubble Bar as i've seen so many people rave about these! As some of you may have seen, I treated myself to the MAC 'Girl About Town' Lipstick as i'd had my eye on it for ages and I hadn't bought a new MAC lipstick since March, so I thought 'why not?!. Also, whilst browsing in House of Fraser I noticed that Ted Baker had a sale on, so I grabbed one of Ted Baker Small Wash Bags. It's so cute and will come in handy when i'm on the go!

Now moving onto clothes and surprise surprise, it's all from Topshop! As the Topshop sale started on Christmas Eve online and I managed to bag a couple bargains, starting with this Topshop Petite Cable Knit Jumper. I loved the look of the fit as it looked quite slouchy and the colour is a perfect wintery pastel shade. I also ordered the Topshop Moto Borg Biker Jacket, which I was a little skeptical about but I love it! It fits really nicely and as it is black I can see me pairing this with a lot of things! Moving away from sale buys, I decided to spend the remainder of my Christmas money on bits i'd had my eye on for some time, which included two pairs of the Topshop Leigh Skinny Jeans. I literally live in these things and I thought it was about time I invested in some more. I also decided to grab another one of the Topshop Fluffy Jumpers, same as the pink one I bought but in navy as I love the fit and style of these. Lastly, I spotted this Topshop Forrest Green Cable Knit Jumper by the tills and I had been wanting a forest green jumper for ages so I grabbed the one in my size and made a dash to the tills. I'm so glad I was able to use student discount on all of this stuff otherwise I think I may have had a break down at the tills!

So that is everything I bought in the sales/with my Christmas money. I think i'm going to have to go on some sort of spending ban now as I have enough things to last me a few months!

What did you get in the sales?
