Recent Purchases #8 - Holiday Pieces

September 04, 2014

It's been a little while since I last did a post showing you the new bits i've been picking up, mainly because I haven't really had the money to do any massive hauls. These pieces I have accumulated since my birthday and most of these bits we're absolute bargains and are all things that i've picked up for my holiday.
First up is this beautiful River Island Tropical Print Kimono (£12), which I actually got from the lovely Helen from The Lovecats Inc as she has a blog sale on at the moment and I managed to snatch this up for £12! I can't wait to wear this holiday as it's such a staple piece, and I really need to stop buying kimonos now haha!

Moving on bikini's and this first piece you will have already seen me feature in a blog post but I thought i'd talk about it again, and it is this amazing Bandeau Neoprene Bikini (£3.28), which is a dupe for the hyped over Triangl bikinis. This was such a bargain from eBay, but you can read more about it here. The next bikini is this New Look Tile Print Bikini Top (£9.99) and New Look Tile Print Bikini Bottoms (£7.99), which I got from ASOS and what I love is that you can buy the top and bottoms seperately so you can choose different sizes, as i'm smaller on the top than I am on the bottoms. I love the crazy print on this and the little neon orange detailing.

Onto a few bits from Primark and I found this cute Aztec Geometric Skort (£2) in the sale section. The smallest size they had was a 14, but I whipped out my sewing machine and took them in to make them fit. I love the crazy print on these and they really make an outfit pop, and they super comfy! I also spotted this really cute Printed Maxi Skirt (£10), which has two slits in the front that I really like. This isn't usually something i'd wear but the print really caught my eye and I thought it would be super easy to just throw on when i'm on holiday.

Lastly we have shoes, and i've been hunting for some shoes for my graduation for ages now. I was browsing the Topshop sale when I came across these Naive Cross Through Sandals (£15), which with student discount I got for £13.50, bargain or what!? They are so comfy and I can also take them on holiday! Lastly, everyone has been rocking the skater shoes trend and i'd had my eye on a few other pairs so when I saw the Tika2 Gingham Skaters (£5) on sale in my local Topshop I ran to the till with them.
