Everyday Eyeshadow Palettes That You Need

April 24, 2015

Before I started blogging I was never one for eyeshadow, mainly because I didn't have the time or effort for it but also because I just didn't really know how to apply it. Since getting into blogging i've somewhat learnt a bit about the world of beauty, eyeshadow being one of them and it has taught me what eyeshadows do/don't suit me but also how to apply it, whilst not making myself look like a clown.
From getting into wearing eyeshadow a lot more, with it has come a pretty big neutral/everyday eyeshadow palette collection and often it can be hard to pick out one that is right for you, so I thought i'd share a few different picks that would suit anyone and everyone.

Starting with the best of the best for neutral eyeshadow palettes and yes, i'm talking about the Urban Decay Naked Palette (£38). The original is the best and even though i've only owned this for a few months, I have literally fallen head over heels for this palette. I always said I wouldn't need this palette, but how wrong I was. Containing twelve shades, with a mixture of bronze, taupe and a few darker shades, with a nice mix of shimmer and matte shades this palette can do you no wrong. I have used this so much since getting for Christmas and I am so thankful!

Although I love my naked palette, a few cheaper alternatives come from my favourite brand of this past year or so, Makeup Revolution. They have a huge variety of palettes to choose from, but I thought i'd mention a few that don't get as much coverage as some of their others. Firstly is the I Heart Obsession 'Pure Cult' Palette* (£3.99), which i've given a lot of love to because it is such a lovely palette. The different pinky taupe colours are lovely and the shimmery gold shade just adds a lovely pop. What I like is that this is different to your usual bronze/gold neutral palettes but is still really wearable on an everyday basis.

Another goodie from Makeup Revolution is their 'Big Love' Pro Looks Palette* (£6), which is great if your quite new to eyeshadow as this basically does the work for you. This palette contains three different eyeshadow looks, that you can mix and match depending on the eye look you are going for. I think this palette is great as it's something i've never seen before and it takes the hassle out of figuring out which shades work well together.

So those are a few everyday eyeshadow palettes that I think anyone would need in their collection.

What eyeshadow palettes do you use on an everyday basis?

  3. I'm after a new eyeshadow pallette so this is great help - I can't believe how cheap the make up rev ones are - I can definitely justify buying both at that price!
