If you've been reading my blog for a while, then i'm sure you'll of heard me talking quite a bit about Claudia Louch as I enjoy using quite a wide range of her products, especially her makeup products. Over the past few months i've been sent a few products to try out and as i've been testing them out for quite some time, I thought i'd finally sit down and give you all the low down on how i've been finding them.

For those of you who aren't aware Claudia Louch is well recognised dermatologist but she also has her own makeup and skincare line, which is tailored to her craft with all aspects of the products targeted towards preventing breakouts and really just taking care of your skin. Having tried out quite a fair few of Claudia's products, I couldn't turn down trying out more of her products as a few of her products I tend to use on a daily basis.

Starting off with a product that intrigued me from the get go was the Quad Corrector* (£45), especially as correcting palettes seem to be all the rage at the moment, but having not really tried much of correcting palettes I thought i'd see what this was all about. Similar to your normal correcting palettes, this has the core four shades for masking everyday blemishes and skin conditions such as redness, yellow tones, bruising/dark circles and finally brightening. The consistency of these correcting shades is so creamy and not drying, as I find some concealers can really dry into the skin but this just masks everything without caking or clinging to the skin. What I also really like about this quad is that it is so purse friendly, as it's so small! 

Another recent makeup addition from Claudia Louch is the Intense Lash Mascara* (£23), which does what it says on the tin really as the comb through wand lifts and grips the lashes like no brush i've ever used, giving your lashes an intense and bold look that lasts really well throughout the day, as the formula is 50% water resistant. What is great about this mascara is that it is really gentle on sensitive eyes, as my eyes can react quite badly to some products and knowing this is tailored to being kind is really reassuring. 

Out of all of the products that i've tried and tested from Claudia, I can honestly stand true to the fact that they do work wonders for your skin but having only tried out her makeup products, I was really excited to try out something from her skincare line. The Mint-Apricot Exfoliator* (£59) is aimed at all skin types and is designed to give the skin a lovely yet gentle polish using ingredients derived from sugar, as well as lemon, mint and apricot in order to give the skin a deep but mild cleanse. Personally I find this exfoliator so soothing to use as it really gets into your pores, but it leaves your face feeling cleansed and so smooth, whereas a lot of exfoliators really tend to irritate my skin. Also it has a very natural and clean scent where you instantly know that this is going to do your skin some good!

Overall i'm really impressed and happy with these latest products from Claudia Louch, mainly because i've noticed how well my skin reacts to these products and I honestly would recommend trying them out for yourself, especially if you suffer with sensitive or acne prone skin.

Secondly we have the Ally Necklace (£15), which is the necklace i've been wearing when it comes to evening events such as dinner with the girls or on a night out to dress up my outfit a little more. This necklace is a lovely silver chain necklace with a row of crystals running through the middle that instantly adds a little extra glitz to an outfit that I just love! Again you can also wear this necklace to add a touch of something to any everyday outfit as this would look lovely during the winter time with a high neck top and suede skirt!

It comes as no surprise when it comes to Makeup Revolution being my favourite budget makeup brand, as they have every product imaginable, all of which are of great quality and price. Whenever it comes round to Halloween, you can always count on the team to bring out a new release just in time for the festive season and this year they've released the new Unicorns Unite Lipstick Range, of which  I just had to share with you guys!

When it comes to Makeup Revolution, their lip products are the ones i've tried the least from so I was really excited when these dropped through my letter box a couple of weekends back. I'd already seen a fair few reviews of these floating around Instagram and I was really intrigued as a few of these shades look beautiful!

The Makeup Revolution Unicorns Unite Lipsticks* (£1 each) are the next release alongside the Unicorns Unite Eyeshadow Palette (£6), continuing the collection just in time for Halloween with each shade being tailored to a different look that allows you to transform into a unicorn - who doesn't want that!? Consisting of five shades, all of which have a frosted metallic finish to their creamy and pigmented formula, thats glides onto the lips giving a bright and pigmented coverage that would complete any halloween look.

The shades within this collection run wuite similar to the eyeshadow palette within this collection, of rich purples and emerald greens. Onto the shades themselves, left to right we have 'Throne', which a beautiful light purple with a slight pink undertone that is just beautiful and a shade i'd definitely wear. Following from that we have 'Pink Myth', which is the most wearable shade from the collection and is a lovely red shade with a pearlescent pink finish that is just so lovely. Next we have 'Magical' and the name says it all with this shade as it is your standard yet beautiful deep purple, but this has a slight electric blue undertone that gives it it's name. Following on is your true unicorn shade, 'Horn of Magic' a lovely icy turquoise green shade perfect for any unicorn wannabe's this halloween. Finally we have 'Legend' which is your ice queen grey with a purple undertone to add a twist and is the one I think i'll be rocking this one this halloween!

If you're one for whacky and slightly different lipsticks shades, these are an absolute steal at just £1 each and the quality of these are just lovely! I'd highly recommend if you're sturggling with your makeup look this halloween, as these are perfect!

What are going as for halloween this year?

It's been quite some time since i've shared anything hair related on this little ol' blog, mainly because I usually find that these posts are the ones that don't go down so well with you all, not sure why but hey ho! Any who, a few new releases from Lee Stafford arrived on my doorstep of which i've been testing out and I just had to share them with you guys!

Lee Stafford is a brand i've loved for years, even prior to starting up this blog so to be able to try out new releases is such an exciting prospect because I know i'm most likely going to enjoy the products! Now these few products are from the Argan Oil from Morocco range of which i've not actually tried anything from to my surprise and i've been pleasantly surprised from these couple of products.

When I first received the press release for these products I decided to a little background research on the argan oil range just to see what it was all about as i've heard that argan oil products are really good for your hair but i've never given them much of a chance to see how they work. So this range from Lee Stafford focuses on using argan oil in order to give you silky, smooth and healthy hair, as the women in Morocco have used it as part of their beauty regime for years and it helps to prevent your hair losing its necessary moisture. As my hair is pretty damaged from the constant dying, this range sounded right up my street and pretty promising, so I was really intrigued by these new releases.

The first product that I gave a test was the Night Repair Serum* (£12.99) of which is like a light weight overnight mask but it's designed to work whilst your hair is out of the harm of everyday pollutants that your hair faces and it also works to restore your hairs moisture, so the moisture infused serum gets to work as you sleep. I usually use this on my hair when my hair is due to be washed the following day, so I whack a small amount through the mid to length ends of my hair, leave it overnight and then wash it out of my hair the following morning. I've found to be a really nice product to use as I find a lot of hair masks really can weigh my hair down after, but this is absolutely devine and i've really started to notice how shiny my hair has began to look, which helps to give the illusion that my hair is healthy, when it definitely is not - haha!

The second product is the Nourishing Miracle Mist* (£9.99) and i'm such a fan of spray hair products as I just find them so quick to use, especially when i'm in a bit of a rush when it comes to styling my hair. This kind of does what it says on the bottle, it nourishes your hair with a little extra help from the argan oil as it infuses your hair with moisture. I use this on both wet and dry hair as it helps to detangle and smooth out my hair, but it also gives such a lovely amount of shine that I think is amazing! I often find oil infused hair products to be quite greasy, especially spray versions but this is so lovely on the hair and doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy what so ever!

Lee Stafford have also released a few new products into their Bleach Blondes range, which are the Bleach Blondes Golden Girl Oil (£9.99) and the Bleach Blondes Tone Correcting Spray (£8.99) but as I don't have blonde hair I decided it was best not to receive those products as I wasn't able to review them properly but I thought i'd give them a quick mention to you lovely blondes out there!

So those are a few new products into the Lee Stafford hair range and i'm so thrilled by these products. If you too find your hair often lacks softness and shine then i'd definitely recommend trying out these products as they are so affordable and Boots always seem to have offer on, on Lee Stafford products!
