Top 5 Beauty Products

May 20, 2013

Following on from my 'Five Favourite Nail Varnishes' post here, I decided to do another post but this time on my top five beauty products!

Sleek Face Form Palette: Superdrug, Rimmel Soft Kohl Eyeliner: Boots
Nars Blusher: ASOS, Blistex Relief Cream: Superdrug , Collection 2000 Skyscraper: Fragrance Direct
These five products are those that I couldn't live without and ones that I use on a daily basis and will be cult products within my daily make-up routine for a long time to come.

Sleek Face Form Contour Palette: I've featured this on my blog a couple of times now and i'm sure many of you are aware of how much I love this product. The main reason I love it is because it's three, potentially four products in one. I use this on a daily basis but I mainly use the contour pressed powder to contour my cheek bones and then after use the highlighter powder to highlight my cheek bones and other areas of my face. I don't really use the blush all that much, only when I want to add a tint of pink to my cheeks but the shade is really nice and suits my skin tone really well. See a full review here.
Rimmel Soft Kohl Pencil Eyeliner: I have so much love for this product. It's been a part of my daily make-up routine for a good year or two now and I still have a good third of this pencil left! I use this on a daily basis on my upper waterline and sometimes on my lower waterline to add some dimension and definition to my lashes as they are naturally blonde. I just couldn't live without this product!
Nars Blush 'Luster': My first and at the moment only Nars product, but I couldn't look back since I treated myself to this a few months back. I love this shade ('Luster') as it adds a lovely bronze glow to my cheeks with a light shimmery finish which gives my face a really healthy look. I have used this as part of my daily make-up routine since they day I got this and nothing compares to this. I originally was going to purchase one of the Nars Bronzers but I went for this Luster blush instead as it was cheaper but still looks like a bronzer to me.
Blistex Relief Cream: Believe me when I say this is like a mini fix for dry and cracked lips! For as long as I can remember my lips have always been really dry and got somewhat worse last year due to some medication. I use this every morning and night to help moisturise my lips and to prep my lips before applying lipstick especially as some of my lipsticks really do dry my lips out but I never use this out in public as it is quite a thick sticky formula.
Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara: For a budget beauty brand, I really do love Collection 2000. Especially their Skyscraper Mascara, it does a really good job of separating and coating everyone of my lashes whilst also adding some length and lifting my lashes. Now I don't use this everyday anymore because I have almost used this up but whenever I got to Boots or Superdrug they don't have this mascara in stock or on display and it's driving me crazy because I love this so much! :(

So that's my top five beauty products!
What are yours?

Hope you're all well and I also wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone of my followers as this little blog reached 300 followers last night!
