So it's come to the end of the month so it's time for my monthly favourites, yay! Where has January gone, seriously it only feels like yesterday that it was Christmas/New Year, before we know it it'll be easter!

I've been loving so many different products this month, far too many for this post but I have managed to narrow it down to these seven products which I am sure will be products that I will continue to use and will be amongst my favourite products over the next coming months. So thats crack on, shall we!?

Make-up/Nails:

Rimmel London Lipstick (180, Vintage Pink) - I have had this lipstick for a good few months now, but only ever really wore it when I went out in the evenings/nights or for special occasions but I have recently been wearing lipstick as part of my day look and this is one of my favourite lipstick shades to wear as it's not too bright and it really suits my skin tone. I also really like the shade as pinks do not tend to suit me, but this deeper pinky tone is fab!

Rimmel London 'Wake Me Up' Concealer - For you guys that read my blog on a weekly basis then you will know how much I love this concealer from my recent review. I have been using it pretty much every day as my daily face routine as it works wonders for hiding the bags under my eyes and makes my eyes look a lot more awake. As I have said before I would highly recommend this concealer to all of you.

Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara - I picked this mascara up just after Christmas as so many bloggers rave how this mascara is one that they always repurchase. As I tend to not stick to the same mascara I thought I would give this a try and I can honestly say I totally see why bloggers love this mascara. It is amazing for lengthening lashes without making them go clumpy and gives great coverage over the lashes. I will be repurchasing this when it runs out!

Topshop Nail Varnish (Easy Breezy) - I bought this nail varnish a few months ago and has been one of my firm favourites for a while and still is. I love the Topshop nails range as they are so affordable and go on so easily with only a couple of coats. I also love this shade, its perfect for the winter months as well as the summer months and I always wear it!

Body & Hair:

Lush 'Snow Fairy' Showergel - For all of you out there who buy products from Lush then I am sure you have heard or tried out this shower gel. I picked this up in the Boxing day sales for £5, half price and I have not regretted it since! I love everything about this product, the packaging is so pretty and girly and the scent reminds me of pear drops and sweets. I use this pretty much every time I have a shower and use it as bubble bath when I have bath which surprisingly creates a reasonable amount of bubbles. Hopefully they bring this back out next Christmas, or as a permanent product!

Milk_Shake Whipped Cream Hair Mousse - I received this hair mousse in my December Glossybox and they couldn't have got it more right! This mousse is amazing and I have never come across a product like it. I apply this to my hair whilst it is still damp and it softens my hair so much leaving it feeling so soft and smooth. It also smells like milkshake, leaving my hair smelling so nice! I will for sure be buying the full size version when my sample runs out.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - As plenty of you know I love this body scrub as I have just repurchased this due to my current one running low. I love Soap & Glory's 'Sugar Crush' range mainly because of the crushed sugar and lime scent, but I particularly like the body scrub as it leaves my skin feeling so soft and leaves my skin with a small hint of the sugar crush scent to it. If you have not tried out this product then I suggest you do, especially as Boots currently have a 3for2 offer on Soap & Glory.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well! :)

So I have another haul for you all, I know how much you enjoy nosing in on the things I have recently purchased and I love showing you all what I have bought, so win win!

Yesterday I went a bit spending happy in Boots and ended up buying a bunch of things, all which had the line 'it's fine as it's for placement' said as I put it into my basket. But truthfully most of these things I will be taking down to London with me whilst I am on placement.

I'm going to quickly list the things I picked up and why I bought them, as I am going to be reviewing these products separately over the next few weeks as I know you all love reading my reviews also.

So these are the things I picked up:

Batiste Large Dry Shampoo: As my dry shampoo ran out last week I decided I needed to purchase a few bottles of this in order to last me through the next few months but whilst in boots I came across this HUGE bottle which was £4.99, when a normal sized bottle is like £2.99 so I thought that was worth the money as it should last me a long long time!

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo: I always tend to have more than one shampoo on the go, but I thought whilst I am on placement I should narrow it down to 1/2 shampoos, so I picked up this Aussie shampoo as I have always been a fan of Aussie and I thought I would go back to using it again especially as this shampoo is formulated for damaged/dry hair.

Soap & Glory 'Sugar Crush' Body Scrub: As my current Sugar Crush Body Scrub is starting to run low I thought I should purchase another in order for me to take a full size tub with down to London as I use this pretty much every time I shower. As Soap and Glory currently have a 3 for 2 offer on in Boots I got this along with the two products in my giveaway so I saved a little bit of money.

Nice 'n Easy Hair Dye: As my hair is naturally ginger I have to re dye my hair every 3-4 weeks but I just touch up the roots otherwise I would ruin my ombre. Anyway, I bought this as its coming up to the three week mark since I last dyed it which I am going to attempt to ride out for at least another week or two so I can sort out my roots before going on placement. 

Dove 'Go Fresh' Deodorant: As my deodorant has just ran out, I have already purchased another one but this one I picked up so I have one ready for when I start placement so I shouldn't have to purchase another, I also really liked the smell of this one. 

Tangle Teezer: Now I have wanted a tangle teezer for ages as so many bloggers rave about them and my hair tends to get very knotty so when I saw that they sold them in Boots I instantly put it in my basket!

Soap & Glory 'Super Cat' Eyeliner Pen: As my current eyeliner is almost running out and the MUA liquid eyeliner I bought isn't that great I decided to pick up a new eyeliner. A lot of bloggers have been raving about how good eyeliner pens are and I have wanted to try one out for ages when I came across this one from Soap and Glory I thought I would give it a try as it was only priced around £5/£6.

Rimmel London Lipsticks: I picked up these three lipsticks as I wanted a few new ones mainly for placement as I am more likely to care about what I look like and as it was 3 for 2 on all Rimmel lipsticks I thought why not. I will be posting reviews on these lipsticks so I am not going to reveal the shades just yet.

As you can see I picked up a fair amount of things, but today was payday and I didn't actually spend a lot. So first of all we went to Boundary Mills which is a big outlet store that sells mainly clothes but also home wares and furniture. I picked up this really cute wash bag which was reduced to £12, I thought would be really handy for when I am down in London for my placement as I am crashing at my friends flat whilst I am there and I could keep all my toiletries all neat and organised. I also picked up the two packets of Wonka Nerds which I love!! They were by the counter when I went to pay which were £2.70 each which I thought was fairly good as nerds are normally around £4 a box!

Next we went to Ikea, as we are moving house later this year we decided to start looking at furniture to get idea's as I am looking to buy everything brand new for my room as my current furniture isn't going to fit. Anyway, whilst we were there I picked up the two drawer sets which I have had my eye on for ages as I am looking for way to store my makeup and nail varnishes and I thought these would be perfect! I also picked up the floral duvet set as I thought it was really cute and was only £15, bargain!!

Finally onto my ASOS order, which I have been quite excited to receive as I've had my eye on these two items for a while. The first was the mint jumper which I first saw featured on Tilly - Jane's blog (go check her out if you haven't already) and I have liked it ever since and seeing as mint isn't normally a colour I would wear I knew that I had to have it, so seeing as ASOS were offering the student discount for 48 hours I took full advantage and ordered the jumper there and then! The second thing I ordered was the coat, as I am going on placement for a month I'm going to need a few coats to get me through the cold walks down Oxford Street. I seem to be loving khaki coats lately and this one is so nice but it is a little big so I may return it and order a size 8.. not sure yet! haha.

Also during the #bbloggers chat on Sunday I won my first ever giveaway from the wonderful girls at Sister Vintage which is an online jewellery and vintage boutique run by three sisters and I was so so so happy especially as I have never won anything before! Hello everyone I hope you have all had a nice start to the week after all the snow we have had over the weekend. Today I have a slightly different post, but I think a lot of you will appreciate this post whether you are looking for tips or help when it comes to caring for your ombre hair.

So the products that I use are as follows:

Tigi S Factor Daily Dose Shampoo & Conditioner: I first heard about these hair products from fellow ombre hair blogger Zoe from Zoella, but I didn't want to pay the £20 price tags. Luckily I came across the conditioner in my local Home Sense store for around £13 and I received the shampoo as a present this christmas just gone. Both of these products I use every single time I wash my hair, they are both so amazing for your hair as they repair and help to replenish the lost moisture from the bleaching. They also leave my hair smelling of strawberries and cream which smells so amazing, I sometimes catch a quick wiff off my hair throughout the day and I love it! Even though these bottles have a £20+ price tag, these are the salon sized bottles which will last you a longer amount of time which is, for me a justifiable reason to purchase these bottles, especially after seeing what they do to my hair!

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo & Conditioner: I was also introduced to these two products by Zoe from Zoella when she shared the products she used on her ombre hair in this video on her youtube channel. They are specially formulated to be used on bleached, highlighted or partly bleached hair and are designed to knock out brassy tones, to refresh and to restore the blonde hair. Now, I use the shampoo to mainly knock out any brassy tones in my hair as this shampoo is a very bright purple colour which is used to tone and brighten the blonde in your hair but they advise that you only use this shampoo once or twice a week which I do but I only apply it to the bleached part of my hair and I love the results. The conditioner is designed to do the same as the shampoo but it is a much paler shade of purple but I tend to use the conditioner more than the shampoo as it really restores my hair and leaves it feeling so smooth. I cannot recommend these two products highly enough and as both of these products are retailed at around £6 each I think that they are a really affordable product and they are often on offer in Boots with a 3 for 2 deal on Lee Stafford hair products which is even better!

Lee Stafford Sun Kissed Lightening Spray: This product I picked up in a 3 for £10 deal from The Clothes Show Live which were featured in the Bleach Blondes range with the shampoo and conditioner above. I also featured this product in my December favourites last month which you can read here. This product is designed to lighten the colour of your hair over a slower period of time as apposed to dyeing your hair as this damages your hair a lot quicker. I really liked the idea of this product because I didn't really want to reombre my hair and cause it more damage so I thought by using this I would be able to lighten my ombre by causing as little damage as possible. I use this on my hair after I have washed it whilst it is still damp so that the product can absorb better. I tend to concentrate on applying this to the ombred parts of my hair, especially to the ends as I want those to be the lightest part of my ombre. I have been using this for a good 6 weeks now and I am starting to notice a difference which I am very happy with especially as it is hardly damaging my hair. This retails at around £7, which is quite expensive seeing as you only get 100ml in the bottle but like I said above Boots every now and then have a 3 for 2 offer on Lee Stafford hair products which can help to bring the cost down.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstruction Deep Conditioner: This product, I have been using since I started dyeing my hair, way before I had my hair ombred as dyeing my hair as often as I do does cause some damage. Now I am sure a lot of you are familiar with the brand Aussie and maybe this product, but this is a deep conditioner specifically for damaged hair and it is designed to reconstruct the hair and to help regain the hairs natural moisture. I tend to use this product at least once a week by only applying it to the ends of my hair and like it says in the name, I leave this on for a minimum of three minutes and then wash it off and it leaves my hair feeling and smelling so much healthier! A deep conditioner like this one is a must when it comes to ombred hair or even hair that has been dyed and there are plenty deep conditioners out there which probably work just as well as this one but for £4.99 you cannot go wrong really!

So those are the main products I use when it comes to caring for my ombred hair. I really hope some of you have found this helpful and it leads you onto trying out some of these products, because without them I think my hair would be in a sorry mess! IT'S SNOWING!!!! But it has been the worst attempting to drive 2 minutes down the road to get to work on time, but it has meant that I got sent home early which has made my day. Anyway last night I took a little trip to my local Tesco to get some petrol but whilst I was there I decided to have a small magazine splurge as I don't tend to read magazines much anymore but I was in the mood to read the latest gossip last night. I picked up Company magazine as it was on offer for £1.25, Glamour magazine which was £2 and Reveal which was £1 purely because it has some gossip about 'Haylor's' recent split haha! I also had a little look at the beauty section as my local Tesco stocks Rimmel cosmetics and I came across the Wake Me Up Concealer, as I already use the Wake Me Up Foundation I thought why not give this a go and for £5 I couldn't really complain. I also picked up some Tesco basic face wipes as I was running low and these always leave my face feeling and smelling fresh.

Whilst I was flicking through the magazines I came across a few offers, the first being an invite to receive a free 7-day trial of Diors Nude BB Cream which you just hand in at your nearest Dior counter where you have a colour match consultation and a sample in the shade that best suits your skin tone, which I for sure will be trying out! The next offer was a free Graze Box offer which I know you can already get your first box free but maybe this will allow me to get another box for free? I'm not sure! The last offer I came across was a 30% off code on Nails Inc nail varnishes which I may use but I am trying to be good and not spend too much money at the moment.

I have also included some snow pictures below just to join in the excitement of the snow!

** I have been approached since posting this review that my palette could be a fake and after doing some research i've learnt that it is so, I have put up this disclaimer just to warn you guys of this and that I do not encourage the purchasing of fake products**

As a lot of bloggers and beauty bloggers have been raving about Urban Decays Naked Palette 2 and Urban Decays Naked Basics Palette so I thought I would join in and give my own opinion and little review on the Naked Palette 2. This retails for around £36 depending on where you buy it from, I was lucky enough to pick this up on eBay for £14 brand new so I was very happy with that as I was a bit skeptical about paying almost £40 for an eyeshadow palette, never the less it is so worth money.

The palette comes with 12 different eyeshadow shades and a double ended brush perfect for applying eyeshadow into the crease of your eyelid and a normal shadow brush.

As I do not own the first Naked Palette I can't say whether I prefer it or not, but a lot of bloggers say that the Naked Palette 2 contains a lot more neutral shades compared to the original palette which from images I can agree. I love this palette, I can make so many different eye looks with all of these shades from a more subtle everyday look starting with the more neutral shades and to a darker smokier eye with the darker shades. I cannot recommend this palette enough, I think every beauty fanatic out there should own this palette and it is so worth it's retail price but if you too don't want to fork out try and find it cheaper like I did.

Hello everyone, hope you are having a good day :) Yesterday my GlossyBox arrived and I did want to put the review up yesterday but I thought I would try out a few of the products so I could review them properly. 

This months GlossyBox is all about a detox after all the festivities over the christmas period and to get you feeling and looking refreshed and ready to start the year ahead.

The products I received in this months GlossyBox are as follows:

♥ Elemis Skin Glow Facial Exfoliator: I have never heard of this brand before but this exfoliator is described to cleanse deeply in your pores to soften and condition the skin. This I can totally agree with this, I tried this out before I went to bed last night after cleansing and my skin felt so smooth and it's smells amazing as it has a cherry scent to it. 

♥ Duck Island Limited Body Lotion: Again I have never heard of this brand before and as I am not a big fan of body lotions as I don't tend to use them, so I wasn't that excited to receive this in my GlossyBox but when I tested it out it left my skin feeling so so soft which I wasn't expecting as it seemed a little oily when I first applied it to my skin and the scent is quite nice as well.

♥ Jason Lips Bee Healthier: When I first opened my GlossyBox I thought this was a Burts Bee's lip balm but it is very similar as it is made from aloe and beeswax but the scent is almost identical to after eights chocolates (strange I know!). It is described to moisturise and protect the lips which I totally agree with I could feel it working as soon as I applied it as my lips started tingling and it left my lips feeling so soft. This is probably my favourite product from this months GlossyBox.
♥ Monu Aromatic Mask: Just like all of the other products this again isn't a brand I have heard of before but I can see myself liking this face mask as I love a good face mask. It is described to slightly warm when applied to the skin opening up the pores to give a refreshed and smooth complexion. I haven't had chance to try out this product but I really do think I am going to like this product from the warming qualities to the aromatic scent.

♥ Preme Skincare Rescue Face Tonic: There seems to be theme of not knowing any the brands in this months box haha, but this face toner described for the use on combination skin which I have, is to rejuvenate congested skin without stripping the skin. This toner sounds like one that i'm going to enjoy using, after testing it out this morning my skin did feel a little refreshed but I think it will take a few more uses to get the full effect of the product.

As a little extra present from GlossyBox they have included this eye mask which is really cute and i'm sure I will get some use out of it as I have to sleep in the pitch black otherwise I won't sleep.

Overall i'm not that impressed with this months box, I like the idea of detoxing your skin after the new year and I like some of the products but i'm not really excited by any of the products like in previous boxes. As I purchased this box with my Glossy dots i'm not too bothered as I didn't pay for it.
