The new Models Own Colour Chrome Collection contains ten molten metal shades, which give a stunning luxe liquid metal effect to the nails, that is like no other. 

I've always wanted to delve into the metal nail trend but usually to achieve them you'd have to go to a nail salon, which means spending more money than it's worth. So with the release of this new Models Own collection, it means you can get metal style nails with a super shiny foil finish for just £4.99 a bottle! 

The lovely team at WizardPR were kind enough to send me a few of the shades and i'm so excited to try them out. First up is Chrome Green* (£4.99), as the name suggests is this beautiful metallic green shade that I wouldn't usually go for but this shade is actually stunning. I'd definitely rock it with an all white outfit to bring a pop of colour to the nails. Next is Chrome Gold* (£4.99), which I liked the look of before I even received these and the shade is beautiful. I can just imagine myself rocking this, with a nice tan during the summer. Finally is Chrome Silver* (£4.99), my favourite from the range and I can see myself getting so much wear out of this one!

What I love is that these nail polishes aren't like your standard metallic nail polishes, they have a slightly different finish that appears quite matte on the nails with a sheen to them. You only need one coat, which is great if you're in a rush but two coats just makes the colour appear more vivid.

Overall i'm really impressed and I cannot wait to rock these in the summer months, especially with a good (fake) tan!

The Ivy Faux Leather Buckle Long Boots* (£22.49) are ideal for me, as the below the knee long boot style is exactly what I was looking for. Even though i'd love a pair of over the knee boots, I just don't think they'd suit me, whereas these are great. They're easy to style, really comfortable to wear and bring a little something extra to my very minimal outfit style - i'm all about the comfy look!

Usually when it comes to any type of shoe I will always opt for black, because it goes with everything but I went with the tan colour in order to switch things up a bit and to bring a hint of colour into my usual monochrome outfits. I love the buckle detailing to the boots and the added elastic makes them so comfy to wear. The only thing I will say, is that the grip on them isn't the best - so don't go wearing them if it's icy outside!

Overall i'm really impressed with these boots and I will be getting a lot of wear out of them, seeing as winter looks very settled in at the moment. I'm a huge lover of pleather jackets, although i'd love to own a real one someday I just can't afford to splash that much cash. When I saw this Beige Leather Crop Jacket (£37.95) I was in awe. I used to own a fake suede leather style jacket and I loved it as it was different but unfortunately it wasn't the easiest thing to clean, so I had to say goodbye to it. This one looks beautiful in quality and would definitely bring something different to my typical monochrome outfits, whilst also keeping me warm!

We all know about this roll neck trend and I haven't really delved into it, but I really want to! I spotted this Plaid Highneck Sweater (£14.52) and instantly wanted it! I love a good check jumper and the grid print to this is so on trend at the moment. I also really like the look of the fit of this jumper, and I could easily style this with so many black ensembles.

Whilst browsing their new in section, I came across this Light Faux Fur Collar Lapel Coat (£49.13) and even though I am a complete coat hoarder, I don't have a coat like this in my collection. I've always wanted a coat with a big fluffy collar to it and the faux fur trend right now is to die for! I just think i'd have to be careful if I were to get this as it could get dirty very easily! Sticking with the faux fur trend, I came across this Grey Longsleeve Faux Fur Coat (£17.87) and I remember the fluffy cardigan trend last year, only it's come back in coat form. This particular piece looks so snuggly and I can just imagine wrapping myself up in it!

What trends are you loving at the moment?

Last year I found that each month had less and less favourites, mainly because I didn't really spend much money on purchasing new products, which i'm glad I managed to restrain myself without really realising - well done Charlotte! Onto this month, and after receiving some amazing Christmas presents i've found some new loves, whilst also rekindling my love for some products that have been hiding in my stash

Kicking things off with my newest fragrance, which my Mum kindly got me for Christmas and this is Marc Jacobs Oh, Lola! 50ml (£48.50). I'd never tested this one out, so I was really happy to find that I liked it, actually, I love it! This fragrance is a signature Marc Jacobs fruity scent and the bottle design is also as extravagant as his other bottle designs, I just love!

This past month or so i've been upping my use of primers and after finding that one was breaking me out, I swiftly moved onto the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (£29). I can totally understand the hype behind this as I find my foundation just applies seamlessly when I use this and it lasts really well throughout the day. The only thing i've found is that as the end of the day nears in, my face starts to appear a little slick and shiny, nothing a bit of powder cannot fix, but I think that I may just be using too much of the product on my face - we shall see, but i'll report back.

In my quest to sort my dry skin out, i've dug deep into my stash and pulled out my trusty Hydraluron (£24.99). I was obsessed with this stuff last winter and did wonders for my skin, but I soon swapped serums for oils, and I think the oils have been a massive factor as to why my skin has been as dry as it has. I've been loving using this serum again, and although my dry skin isn't improving as rapidly as I hoped, it's definitely helping in small doses.

Onto the makeup and very pink products, starting with the Milani 'Luminoso' Baked Blush (£4.49), which has been one of my go to blushes this month. It adds a lovely flush to the cheeks, with a slight amount of golden highlight that I just LOVE! I wish we could get Milani products easily in the UK, as this blush has made me want to try more from the brand. Another blush love this month has to be the Tarte Pin Up Girl Blush Palette, which i've been using non stop also. All of the shades within this palette suit my skin tone so well, and as you know I just love Tarte blushes - could I say love anymore in one post?!

Lastly is my newest lipstick addition and this is the MAC 'Show Orchid' Lipstick (£15.50). My Dad and Step Mum got me this for Christmas and, guess what?! I love it! It's the most beautiful bright pink shade that just warms up my complexion instantly - if you haven't swatched this, then you need too!

What have you loved this month?

It's safe to say my MAC collection is very pink/purple, as I don't tend to steer towards any other shades. Nudes and light pinks don't really suit my skin tone and reds I find wash me out, again because i'm so pale, so I just stick with warmer pink/purple shades as I find they suit me the most.

As for finishes, I do not like the matte finish especially of the MAC Lipstick (£15.50) as they are just too drying for my lips and the lipstick itself just clings to any dry patches that I have. The majority of these shades are the amplified finish, which is by far my favourite as they are super pigmented but also not drying in the slightest. I have a couple of, which again aren't drying at all as they are quite shiny but their pigmentation isn't as intense so they are great for everyday wear. As for the satin finish, I prefer it to the matte finish as it isn't as drying but I find I still have to be careful when applying as it can sling a little.

I'm not going to go into detail as to why i've had a bad week, some things need be kept off of the internet but reflecting on last week, it's safe to say that everyone has bad habits and some people can get very stuck in their ways - whether it be a relationship or their work commitments, or just their general attitude and i'm sure we have all been guilty of one of these.

For me it's my work commitment, and after leaving uni I thought i'd of found a job by now but i'm still at my part time job of five years and i've reached the point of where it's time for a change. As some of you know i'm currently interning at etailPR and I am loving every second of it and it's nice to get away from the normal and do something different for a couple of days of the week. Having said that, it's not something I see myself sticking with long term (more than a year or so), as it is unpaid and it's really just to get a feel of where I want to venture onto - but for now i'm loving the experience and it's definitely opened my eyes up to the other side of blogging, so i'm learning a lot. 

As for moving on from my part time job, it's definitely a long process as I don't really know where I want to go in life. My degree didn't really give me an end goal and i'm still very undecided as to what I want to do in life, but I have been applying for several jobs in the hope that something comes along, where I can actually put my degree to some use and enjoy what I do. Don't get me wrong, I love the people that I work with and the pay isn't so bad - but sometimes you just need to move on from something.

Looking forward to next week, i'm going to make it the best week ever! Any crap that comes my way I am going to ignore and not let it affect me, as I tend to let any little thing bother me - which isn't worth my time or patience anymore, and is generally not creating any happiness for myself and i've also noticed that my relationships also suffer.

So i'm saying goodbye to last week, and fully welcoming the new week with open arms!

Are you going through anything similar? - How are you moving forward?

As much as I loved the previous blush palette from Born Pretty, I was really excited when their 10 Colours Blush Palette* (£6.65) arrived on my doorstep as i've really been loving wearing blusher this winter, as I didn't that much the previous winter. It just adds a nice amount of flush to the skin, that I really like in the winter.

This palette contains ten different blush shades with a variety of different blush shades, from light dusky pinks, to peachy pinks and bright pinks, with some matte and some shimmer, you're really spoilt for choice! I've been particularly loving the two light pink shades in the top and bottom left corner, as well as a few of the peachy tones - I haven't quite got to grips with the bright hot pink shades just yet. 

They are all really pigmented, so you need the smallest amount on the brush and just pay attention when applying the more bright shades, as I found when first testing out this palette. I've been using the shades within this palette quite a lot recently, almost everyday and i've found they last really well throughout the day. I also like that the shades that contain shimmer aren't that shimmery, just adds a small amount without you looking glittery as i've found other shimmer blushes to do. The only down side to this palette, is that it doesn't contain a mirror but I can get past that.

Overall i'm really impressed with the BornPretty palettes, and i'm so looking forward to growing my collection. Not only are their products really good in quality, they are so affordable and shipping only takes a couple of weeks - so win win!

Kicking things off with a product that I think every beauty blogger has tried at least once, and this The Comforter (£4.75), which is one of my favourite bubble bars for their range. You probably already know how to use a bubble bar, but you basically crumble part of it under running water to create bubbles. I love the scent of this one and I like that you can get more than one use out of it.

One of my favourites from their Christmas range this year has to be the Dashing Santa, which smells incredible, quite zesty which was unexpected but I fell in love with it and i've gone through three so far! Another favourite from their Christmas range has to be Candy Mountain Bubble Bar, and again I love the scent of this one, as it smells just like Snow Fairy another favourite of mine (but I forgot to photograph it). I hope they bring both of these back next Christmas as I like them a lot! 

Next up is from their Valentines range, and this one is actually from last year so I was really happy to see that it has returned this year! The Love Locket (£6.95) is the cutest thing ever, as you break it up to reveal another mini heart inside - such a clever idea! I've gotten a fair few uses out of this as it is quite big and it fills your bath with lots of little glittery hearts, how romantic! 

Last from the image above we have the Magic Wand, another from their Christmas range. I can't remember if they brought it back this year, but I love the idea of swirling this in your bath and creating loads of bubbles. Mine is slowly on it's way out, but i've kept it going for quite a while now, and again another that smells just like Snow Fairy!

As usual i've split the products into categories to make it easier for you guys to read and for me to type, so here are the huge bundle of things i've used up recently.

Starting with body and it's no surprise that i've gone through a lot of shower gels. The Zoella Soak Opera (£5) was one I just had to try and I really enjoyed it. It lathered well, smelt nice and generally made me feel all clean and lovely. I especially love the packaging of this, as with the entire Zoella range but I won't be rushing out to repurchase anytime soon. As I received a few Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel for Christmas, I thought it was about time I finally used up the little bit I was holding onto. I love this shower gel so much, it smells just like pear drops and the fact it is limited edition makes me love it even more.

No surprise that i've used up a few Soap & Glory products over the past couple of months and these two are my favourites. The Orangeasm Body Wash (£6.50) because it smells so zingy and refreshing and the Sugar Crush Body Wash (£6.50), as it is my favourite from the range. I can never be without a back of both of these products, and i'm already onto a second bottle of the Orangeasm Body Wash. Last of the body products and this is the &Other Stories Punk Bouquet Body Scrub (£7). I made this last really well as I knew I wouldn't be able to get my hands on another so easily, but I love the scent of this. It also was like no other body scrub that i've used as it lathered, whilst also exfoliating the skin and I just love this stuff. I need to get my hands on another soon!

Onto hair and i'm quite surprised i've used up as much as I have over the last few months. Starting with a shampoo that was rather interesting was the Concoction Nourish+Protect Shampoo (£14). If you haven't come across these shampoos, then go do some research as you basically can tailor these shampoos to your needs by adding shots to the shampoo, quite clever but I didn't really get on with it. Although the idea is great, the shampoo just left my hair feeling so weighed down and often greasy that I don't think I finished the bottle. My favourite shampoo of the year has to be the Tresemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo (£3.89). Everyone needs a clarifying shampoo to just get rid of any product build up and this one is so good. It does the job and is so budget friendly, compared to other shampoos (yes i'm looking at you Bumble & Bumble Sunday Shampoo!).

Hair conditioning now and one product I really enjoyed was the Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer (£29) as a pre shampoo mask. I usually left this on overnight and I found it just helped to really condition my hair and prepare it for a good wash, as it's designed to improve the hair elasticity so that it doesn't break. I wouldn't say this didn't work, but as I only had a sample I didn't get enough use to really get to know this product, but the price tag does put me of a bit. Next is the Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Colour Mate Conditioner (£4.99) and I think every beauty blogger has a love for this. It's a quick and easy deep conditioner that gives your hair a lovely boost and it's also really affordable. Last for the hair and i've gone through a fair few cans of Batiste Dry Shampoo (£2.99). I use a fair few different ones, whatever takes my fancy when repurchasing and for me it's my favourite dry shampoo, even if it does leave a white cast, I can usually sort it out.

Lastly onto beauty and skincare, which I haven't used all that much of. I was really sad when I used my Marc Jacobs Honey* (£41.99) as it's my favourite fragrance ever! It's the perfect summery scent and I love the bee like packaging. Luckily I picked up another in duty free during the summer, so i'm not so sad anymore. Onto makeup and I managed to use up a concealer, and this never happens! The Rimmel Wake Up Concealer (£5.49) has been a firm favourite of mine this year and I completely forgot how much I loved this. It's great for covering dark circles, blemishes, everything! I must go and get another one soon. I also used up another Erborian BB Creme Light (£15) after loving it a couple of summers ago and I used this one up pretty quickly too. It's a lovely lightweight base, but still gives great coverage and lasts really well, especially in the warmer months. Another foundation and this is the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation (£8.99), which I used pretty much every day throughout spring/summer. It's a great foundation, great coverage, great shade range, it's just great!

Finally onto skincare and a moisturiser that has really impressed me is the La Roche Posay Hydreane Light (£14.50). It's great for dry skin and has never irritated my skin, as i've found some moisturisers to do previously and even though it's not the cheapest, it lasts such a long time. I have also used up my Nuxe Reve De Miel Lipbalm (£9.50), which I am hooked on! I wouldn't be without this after purchasing it earlier in the year and i've already got a back up sorted. Lastly is my favourite cleanser, the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (£13.25). You all know what a great cleanser this is and I will continue to repurchase this for the rest of my life.

What products have you used up recently?

I decided in the new year that I really wanted to interact more on Instagram and post a lot more regularly, as one of blogging goals this year is to be more interactive with you guys and I love Instagram, I think it's a great app and you can really draw a lot inspiration from it and it's a great way to pass the time. So here a few tips when it comes to boosting your Instagram and also some photo editing tips..

If you didn't know I dye my, a lot and it is very damaged because of it mainly through the use of box dyes, which I know aren't great for your hair but budget wise, they are great. I'm always on the hunt for everyday products that will just make hair look a lot more healthy and less dull, and so far these few have really impressed me.

Starting with one of my favourites from 2014, the Bumble & Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil Primer 60ml (£7.50). I've raved about this a couple of time and thats because it's a great all rounder for my hair. It basically primes your hair for whatever it is going to face, so it controls frizz, prevents UV and heat damage, tames fly aways, detangle and more. It's great, it smells amazing and it leaves my hair feeling and looking that little less damaged.

Two products from Lee Stafford, and I picked these up from The Clothes Show and have loved them ever since. First up is the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Leave-in-Treatment (£11.99) and this stuff has changed everything. It's a great leave in product, that I use on both wet and dry hair all over including roots as it is said to increase root productivity and it leaves my hair just looking a lot more nourished. I can't really comment on the growth side of my hair just yet, as I don't think i've been using it long enough but it's definitely doing something! Secondly is the Lee Stafford Climate Control Spray (£5.99) and I didn't know this type of product existed. It is basically a spray that can be used in any weather and your hair will stay in place (except if you're caught in a torrential downpour). I've been using this to just smooth and tame any fly aways, whilst also giving my hair that little bit of hold throughout the day and so far i'm really impressed.

Hair oil next and i've tried a fair few in my time, but nothing will live up to the Moroccan Oil Light Treatment 25ml (£13.45). I have a sample of this, because it is so darn expensive but it is so amazing! I apply this almost everyday, the tiniest amount and rub it through the ends of my hair to just sort out those split ends. Everyone needs a hair oil in their life and this one does wonders at improving the condition of the lower lengths of your hair.

Lastly is a dry shampoo, I have many loves for many different dry shampoos but one I have not mentioned before it the Dove Refresh+Care Dry Shampoo (£4.59), it's not my favourite but this is the only dry shampoo I have used, that doesn't leave any white cast over your hair and if you're in a rush this one is perfect. It does leave my hair feeling a little gritty, but it's great if you want to add volume to the roots.

Which hair products do you use on a daily basis?

Makeup Revolution have recently released three new Pro Palettes to their array of eyeshadow palettes and each of these palettes contain three eyeshadow looks within one palette, making it easier to create eye looks, whilst also helping to understand which shades work well together.

The lovely team sent me over the Pro Looks Big Love Palette* (£6), which is definitely my favourite out of the three palettes so I was really happy to open up this one. As i've already mentioned that this palette contains three eye looks, with five eyeshadows for each look, each one for a different occasion. I really like the idea behind this palette as i've never seen anything like it before.

Starting from the right, is your everyday neutral eye, which has one matte shade and four shimmer shades and this one i've been wearing quite a lot as it's a really simple, yet a beautiful eye look. In the middle we have a more smokey eye look, containing one matte shade and four shimmer shades, which you could wear in the day toned down or vamp it up for the evening. I really like the purple tones in this and I can't wait to see how this one looks all together. Finally, on the left is a more party look as this look contains all shimmer shades and I love the different blue/brassy tones.

All of the eyeshadows are really pigmented and they last so well throughout the day, but make sure to tap off any excess as they can get a little messy when applying. The palette itself has a huge mirror just like their other palettes, making it great for travelling which is really handy.

If you're a newbie to eyeshadow, or have trouble putting shades together that actually work (like myself) then this palette is great for that and i've been loving using it.

Have you tried any of the new Pro Looks Palettes?

I mainly went in to see what Soap & Glory products they had left, but I wasn't holding out much hope as I knew a lot of things had already sold out but after perusing the aisles in my local Boots I saw the Soap & Glory Eau-La-La Gift Set (£16) hiding on some shelves right at the bottom (very sneaky Boots) and as it was reduced to less than £5 I knew I had to get it. It comes with minis of the Orangeasm Body Wash and Body Butter, and I think a full size of the Super Tonic, which I haven't tried so i'm happy to have that in my life. By the looks this is still available online, but you never know with their website when it comes to sales! 

Also whilst perusing around the main area of the shop, away from the sales I saw the Origins Mask Marvels Gift Set (£33.33) which was marked at £30 in store but rung up as £19.99 on the till, which I was more than happy to pay seeing as one of these masks costs £23! The set comes with the Drink Me Up Intensive Over Night Mask, the Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask (which I swear was called something else before) and the Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask. I've only ever used one of these before, so i'm really happy to now have these and so will my skin.

I also picked up a present for my Mum's birthday as all of the fragrance gift sets are 50% still, but I couldn't really blog about it incase she reads it as I don't want to spoil the surprise. However, my local Boots still had a lot of the fragrance gift sets, all half price, some even 70% off, so go check your local Boots out!

Did you manage to get any sale bargains?

My current makeup bag is from MAC's most recent holiday collection, and my Dad/Step Mum kindly got me one, which i'm absolutely loving as it's just the right size to fit all of my day to day bits in it.

So onto the products within the bag, and a few of these have made some recent appearances on the blog but i'm still loving a lot of them. Starting with base products, and my current go to primer is the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (£29), which I am loving so far. I haven't used it enough to really say much about it, but i've noticed my makeup is definitely lasting a little better, rather than just drying into my skin. Onto foundation, and yes i'm still loving the Bourjois 123 CC Cream (£9.99). It's the perfect everyday base that is light and just makes me look more alive in the mornings, but it also lasts really well throughout the day and just covers any blemish or dark circles. Concealer wise, i'm still loving the L'oreal Lumi Magique (£8.49) as it's work pretty well to give my skin that little glow, especially around my eye area if i'm having a pretty bad dark circle kind of day. It's not that great for blemishes, but luckily my skin is behaving at the moment. 

Onto brows and i've found the perfect combo I think, i'll usually fill in my brows with the HD Brows 'Foxy' Palette (£25) and then go over with the Benefit Gimme Brow (£17.50) to just set everything in place. I've noticed that my brows are lasting really well throughout the day and setting them has made a huge difference to their appearance. When it comes to my eyes, i'm loving just a simple winged eyeliner and mascara look, i'll sometimes whip out my Urban Decay Naked Palette (£37) but recently i've just been using the Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner (£2.99) and then covering my lashes with the Makeup Revolution Viper Mascara* (£3). 

Onto the powder products, and i've really rekindled my love for The Body Shop Honey Bronzer (£13) as I hadn't been using it all that much recently, but i'd forgotten how much I loved this product. How I haven't hit pan on it yet, I don't know but it's just a great bronzer and would suit any skin tone. Onto blushers, and I have two on the go at the moment. The Benefit Rockateur Bronzer (£23.50) i've been using as a blush/highlight duo and then using the Milani 'Luminoso' Baked Blush (£9.71) to add a little more pink to the cheeks (and thank you to Alexandra for sending me this, I love it!). Lastly, in order to set everything in place the Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder* (£17) has been my go to. For a loose powder, it can be a tad messy but it works great and just keeps everything in place and my face from looking so shiny.

What products are you loving at the moment?

A recent favourite of mine is their Whipped Clean Shower Butter (£7) which I use mainly as a shaving cream, as it lathers really well but leaves your legs feeling so soft after shaving, rather than dry and stripped. It also smells just like whipped cream, and is a scent that i've never really experienced before but it is lovely! It's also great as an in shower moisturiser if you're in a bit of a rush and won't have time to moisturise after showering.

When it comes to their body washes, i'm a big fan of the citrusy zesty scents and their recent addition the Orangeasm Body Wash (£6.50) is lovely. It's a really zingy orange scent that just smells incredible and the scent lingers all throughout the day. I just wish they did a body scrub in this scent! I also love their Sugar Crush Body Wash (£6.50), again this one is quite zingy as it smells of crushed sugar and lime, which is an odd but lovely combination. Again this scent lingers on the skin and I always get excited when I crack open another one of these, as i've gone through so many. I also love the packaging of this one, it's just so bright and pretty! 

Lastly is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub (£8), which is the only scrub that I have tried from their range but if you try only one, you've got to try this one. It smells just like the body wash, only a lot more zingy and refreshing. It looks and smells just like crushed brown sugar, but is also a great body scrub as it leaves the skin feeling so soft and smelling amazing. I've gone through a fair few of these and I always have a back up as I can't stand to be without it.

What are your favourite Soap & Glory products? - Leave some suggestions of any that I need to try!

As I blog on a daily basis (or try to at least), I find that organising myself really does benefit me as it allows me to get ahead of myself, whilst also giving my brain a bit of a break from thinking. Up until recently I didn't really organise myself all that much, i'd schedule a few posts here and there if/when i'd have a day off but a lot of the time i'd leave it until the day of to get a blog post up and photographs taken. There is nothing wrong with that, as I still do this occasionally, but I always found i'd worry that I hadn't got any written or how i'd find time to get another post up - worrying doesn't do me or anyone any good, so i've taken it upon myself to pretty much force myself to organise my time/blogging schedule and here is how I do it.

1. Lists and lots of them - This is such a clique thing amongst us bloggers, but I find lists to be so helpful when it comes to jotting down ideas for posts. Usually i'll sit down on a Sunday (or when I can) and just jot down all of the ideas i've had that week, and also scroll through my bloglovin' feed to see if I can spark any inspiration for posts. I find it be really helpful because I can then refer back to these lists, rather than having to rack my brain and it just saves a lot of time in the long run.

2. Plan ahead/schedule posts - Following on from the lists, I then usually expand and plan exactly what blog posts I want to get up that week and which days I want to post them on and this then allows me to get started with my schedule of when I can get them written and when I can get photographs taken. Also this is where scheduling posts comes in handy as it allows you to get ahead of yourself. If I have a free evening i'll attempt to get at least the writing side of the posts put together and then the following day i'll take advantage of the good light and get a batch of blog photos taken or vice versa, just use your time effectively.

3. Stationary - Us bloggers love a good bit of stationary don't we?! I sure do and it sounds really silly but stationary just makes me want to stay organised, especially if it's new and has a pretty design on the front. Some of favourite places to look for stationary are Paperchase, as they have so many pretty designs and I also love my Emma Bridgewater Notebook as it's great for jotting things down in, and it's the perfect size to take everywhere with me. 

4.  Computer files, keep it simple - This relates to my Macbook, which isn't the most organised may I say as i'm not one of those bloggers that has folders on folders of images, i'd just get confused so I keep it simple. I have one folder called 'Blog' and then within that folder I have another folder that for now is called 'A' (don't ask, I don't know obviously was having a PLL day) and then a bunch of misc. images. Within the 'A' folder, this is where all of images go after I import them through iPhoto, I then edit the pictures, save them, and then delete any unedited images - your images are in one place, easy to find and just simple as can be.

5. Declutter your space - I often find that if my desk area is a mess, then I cannot concentrate for the life of me, which then puts me off track and my organisation goes out the window. I find the best thing to do, before you even think about sitting down is to just clear out any crap that is going to distract you, whether that means throwing it on the floor then so be it.

I wrote this post whilst admiring these pretty roses Mum had bought herself this morning, whilst also chowing down on a seriously delicious breakfast that I made myself - crumpets are the best things ever, am I right?! 

I skipped the gym today as i'm just not in the right mind frame, but i've really been pushing myself to go this week and so far i'm really enjoying it. Oh, and I did make the move by switching to a different gym and so far i'm enjoying it a lot more, as you get a lot more freedom without the intimidation of the weights area and it's a lot more affordable that the gym I was previously at, which my bank balance is liking, a lot!

I mentioned in my Year in Review post that I had bagged myself a little internship at etailPR, which I started at on Tuesday this week and I had the best day in a long time. Everyone within the office made me feel so welcome and to be helping them on their Blogger Network is such a great opportunity and one that i'm really enjoying so far. I'm only doing one day a week at the minute, but i'm already learning a lot and I can't wait to see what this may lead to in the future.

Now onto the blog, and you may have seen that I have made the move over to my own domain! It was stressful, i'm not going to lie as I thought i'd completely lost my blog at one point, but luckily it sorted itself out and styleandsplurging.com is here to stay! I've still got a few things to sort out, as the majority of my comments have gone and a few things aren't working, but bear with. Also i'm in talks with the lovely Charlee from CharmedCharlee about a new blog design, which she has been so helpful with and I can't wait for it to go live. It'll probably be up beginning of February, but I thought i'd let you guys know that it's in the pipeline and I can't wait for you all to see it.

I think that is everything that I need to update you guys on and i'm going to spend today attempting to get some posts scheduled, but I do have a few days off next week also where I can work on posts.

I'm a huge sucker for Nars as they are still one of my favourite high end beauty brands, but as I missed out on their last Narsissist Palette i've now set my sights on their latest release, the Nars Narsissist Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette ($79). I'm not entirely sure if this is available in the UK as of yet, but if/when it does I will be rushing out to get this. The shades in this palette are perfect for me as I would wear pretty much all of these shades and apparently the pigmentation of these shadows is amazing! Another product from Nars is their Audacious 'Charlotte' Lipstick (£24) and the only reason I want this is because it's called Charlotte. I also really like the look of this shade and from the swatches i've seen, it is definitely one i'd love!

Moving on Charlotte Tilbury and boy did her products get a lot of blogger loving last year, so much that I think it left us all lusting after her products. First up is the Film Star Bronze & Glow (£49) which is just beautiful. Not only is the packaging absolutely stunning, but the shades look like they'd suit any skin tone and if this doesn't make me look flawless I don't know what will. Next up is the The Golden Godess Luxury Eyeshadow Palette (£38) and this is just beautiful. Again all of the shades in this palette are absolutely stunning and that packaging - wow! Lastly from Charlotte Tilbury is the Matte Revolution 'Glastonberry' Lipstick (£) which literally exploded onto the blogger scene with so many rave reviews, so of course i'm going to want to try it. I love a good berry shade and i'm slowly warming to matte formulas and again that gold packaging is to die for!

Continuing with beautiful gold hardware, the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set (£55) has had a place in my heart for s very long time. That rose gold hardware just makes me drool and those brushes look absolutely stunning. Again the rave reviews have made me want this set even more and if these brushes are as soft as everyone claims, then i'm going to be very impressed! The last product on my list is the Origins Make A Difference Night (£34.50) as my skin has been so dry lately that I need something to really sort that out and this overnight repair cream sounds like it would work a treat. 

What products/brands do you want to try in 2015?

I'm always on the hunt for a good face mask as I find them to really help my skin out, once or twice a week in the evening and it feels like my skin is as smooth as a babies bottom, if not smoother. I'll always turn towards those face masks aimed at dry skin, as I suffer with dry skin and with the cold weather, my skin always needs a little pick me up.

One of my all time favourites is the Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Mask* (£43), which is one that I use on a weekly basis as it does some wonders to my skin. It's clay formula put me off at first, as I always associated clay masks with spot prone/oily skin but this just transforms my skin. It's formula contains a lot of oils and natural ingredients that are designed to deeply moisturise the skin such as, avocado oil, carrot oil, sunflower and aloe vera. It also works really great to restore the skins suppleness, which is why you're left with lovely soft feeling skin. Although it's a little pricey, it is a really good mask to have in your collection and it lasts such a long time, I don't think i've hardly made a dent on this bottle and I use it all of the time.

Next up is one that you will have seen a lot of recently and this is the Rodial Super Acids X-Treme Hangover Mask* (£45) and the name would suggest that you'd use this on 'hungover' skin but in fact it is just a really great mask that rescues your skin when it really needs that boost. Again it's a clay mask but it's designed to resurface the skins texture by exfoliating, cleansing and restoring the skin to give a healthy and glowing complexion. I love to use this one on a Sunday to give my skin that nice refresh for the new week ahead as it leaves my skin looking so refreshed and restored. 

Last of the clay masks and this one is more a of budget friendly mask that everyone will love and this is The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask (£10). Now I have no idea how this mask does what it does, but you apply it to wet skin and it instantly starts to heat up, opening the pores and basically removing any crap off of your face. I love using this one when my skin hasn't been too bad and needs a quick fix as this does exactly that - it's also great for most skin types as it absorbs any excess oil and i've found it works quite well when i've got a few blemishes.

Last but not least is the Bioderma Hydrabio Moisturising Mask* (£14.50), which is a lovely creamy yet gentle mask that give the skin that little lift. If I find that my skin is still feeling a little dry after using the clay masks, then i'll whack this on for a good ten minutes and it just infuses that extra moisture that the skin sometimes needs. I also like to use this on it's own if my skin hasn't been too bad, as it just restores the skin and gives it the hydration that it needs after a long day.
