Lush, oh Lush why do you have to drop a new collection right when i'm trying to save as much money as I can?! After reading Makeup Savvy's recent post and 'oohing' over all the Lush bits, I too thought i'd pull together a Lush shopping list of all the Lush bits I want in my life, but currently am resisting purchasing!

A few weeks back I saw a few of my fellow blogging gals at the Plymouth Lush store preview night and oh my god was I awe at the new products that were being demoed. It's definitely safe to say that as soon as the Lush Halloween and Christmas collections launch online then that means autumn winter has arrived and it happening.

One product i've wanted to try for an absolute age is the Sleepy Body Lotion (£7.95) purely because every blogger on the planet has raved about how much they love this body lotion. Now i'm typically not a body lotion kind of gal, but having given this a sniff when I was last in Lush I knew that i'd love this. With my skin getting somewhat dry during the winter months I already know that applying this to those dry areas will be an absolute saviour! Another body product that caught my eye whilst browsing their website is their Cup O' Coffee Face & Body Mask (£7.25) even tho I am not a huge fan of coffee, I know this will work wonders on a hangover when my skin is in need of a big pick me up!

Another product launch that got me excited and intrigued is their hair oil treatments and one that caught my eye is their Hair Doctor Hair Oil Treatment (£6.50) as it is said to revive the hair and the scalp to ensure shine and softness. As I always say, my hair is quite damaged so i'm always wanting to try out new products to help revive my hair condition, and not having ever tried any hair products from Lush i'm intrigued to see how these work. 

A cult favourite of mine and every Lush customer on the planet is the Snow Fairy scent and this year it seems that Lush have taken it one step further and have made this as eco friendly as possible by totally getting rid of the packaging.. interesting. The Snow Fairy Naked Body Conditioner (£8.25) essentially works by wetting the solid block and rubbing it all over your body. I'm so intrigued to see how these work, and i'm loving how Lush really take being as eco friendly as possible so seriously! 

Lastly I couldn't not include a couple of bath products that i'm really intrigued by, as Lush are always pushing the boundaries and making new, exciting products! The one product that instantly caught my eye is their Bubble Spinner (£4.95) which essentially is the Lush version of the fidget spinners that have been an absolute rage this summer just gone, and this just instantly excited me! Finally we have the Rocket Science Bath Bomb (£2.95), which just looks so cool and I'm always intrigued to see what new bath bombs they bring out!

What Lush products are you excited to try out?

Spring is probably my favourite season of them all, as it's not too hot and not too cold and being the natural red head that I am I do suffer slightly when it comes to the hella' hot summer days. Having said that I do love when the leaves start to turn crisp and the long lit nights start to turn every so slightly darker, knowing Autumn is on the horizon.

Now i'm not one to wish the warm weather away, however for probably the first time ever i'm starting to look forward to Autumn (probably because my candle collection is over flowing and I need to get to burning them), and I thought i'd do a round up post as to why i'm looking forward to Autumn and all the things it brings without being too cliché. 

Treat myself to some new cosy PJ's - In summer PJ's are simply a top and some shorts for me, there not really a thought but when it comes to winter thats where it all changes and out come all of my fleece lined PJ's and thick hoodies to snuggle up in of an evening (because i'm single AF). This year, because I want to i'm gonna treat myself to some new PJ's to see me through the winter purely because I have nothing better to do than sit snuggled up in front of the TV with a large hot chocolate.

Attempt to get through my candle collection - Candles for me only really get lit of a cold night, which during winter means every night. However my candle collection is pretty extreme, i'm talking a good 20+ candles which even for me is too many! Even though they make amazing blog props, I really do need to get rid of some just so I don't feel guilty every time I buy another!

Getting stuck into some new reads - Now reading isn't something you just do Autumn obviously but for me it's something I want to get more into. Rather than spending my evenings scrolling through social, I actually want to get my head into a good book and actually learn! I've ordered a couple of new reads including Grace Victory's No Filter (£12.74) and Arden Rose's Almost Adulting (£7.69) in the hope I learn some life lessons. I'll keep you posted!

Trying out new soup recipes - Of the warmer months I'll usually have a salad for lunch, however when it comes to the colder months I want to try making more home made soups to 1) bring some warmth to my body 2) to switch things up, because salads are boring AF. If you've got any good recipes, leave them below as i'm intrigued to see what I can whip up.

Adding some new Autumn clothing into the mix - Being someone who works in fashion, personal style is something I love to experiment with and although I do play it quite safe, i'm excited to see what fashion trends spark up this Autumn. Essentially I can't wait to go shopping and add some new knits into the mix!

What are you looking forward to doing this Autumn?

With the weather being in that temperamental stage of being freezing in the morning, and warm come the afternoon to me means Autumn is approaching. With that being said, for me i'm already beginning to plan my transitional content and with that comes reflecting on the products that I have discovered this summer and loved throughout summer.

To me it only seemed fitting to do a round up style post of these products, as some i've not really spoken of and others are ones that are definitely worth mentioning, as they are some absolute favourites of mine and will be coming with me as we approach into the colder months. So here are a few products that have well and truly stolen my inner beauty lovers heart this summer.

Starting off with the product that is the most fitting, and of course it is fake tan! I've tried out a few tans this summer, but one that has impressed me so much this summer has been the Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan* (£6.99) of which i've used before and loved, however the one i've been reaching for the most has been the matte finish, which I prefer to the shimmer finish. For me this is an amazing instant tan and is the first i've found to apply evenly giving such a beautiful glowing tan but without leaving any streaks. Now as this is an instant tan, it's going to come off when you get your skin wet, these things can't be stopped however this is a lot more water resistant to other instant tans i've previously tried, which for me isn't necessarily a selling point but is nice to bear in mind. If you're on the look out for a new instant tan that is also budget friendly, then i'd definitely recommend trying this out!

Another product from Rimmel that has really impressed me these last few months is the Rimmel Insta Duo Contour Stick* (£6.99), which for a high street/drug store cream contour stick is pretty amazing! I typically only use the contour side of this as the highlight is a little too subtle for me, but i've been wearing this day in day out and for many different occasions as it can be worn quite subtly, or it can be built up into a more bold contour look. What I love about it, is that it's so easy to apply and anyone could easily use this even those who haven't contoured before, as it's really easy to work with and blends out so lovely on the skin that you honestly couldn't go wrong! Instead of using the highlight end of this product, instead i've been loving the Jeffree Star 'King Tut' Skin Frost (£25.50) which I know controversial but I can't deny how stunning this highlighter is. It's had a lot of love from me over the past couple of months, and is definitely a product i'll get a lot of use out of because lets face it, these highlighters are huge! 

For lips it was a no brainer, as i've been wearing the Kylie Cosmetics Send Me More Nudes ($45) liquid lipsticks all summer, but my favourite shade has got to be 'Commando' which is the most stunning orange toned nude i've ever laid my eyes on! I've raved quite a lot about the Kylie Cosmetics lip products, so I won't go on but if you want to read a more in depth review, with swatches then check out my post here.

Finally to round of this post is my favourite fragrance pick, as every summer I discover a new summer scent. This year i've gotten so much wear out of the Missguided Babe Power Eau De Parfum (£28) which i'm pretty sure every blogger has got their hands on by now, and although i'm not a fan of the packaging, I absolutely love the scent. For me it is one of those summer in a bottle scents and is such a me style of scent. The best way I can describe it is a fruity scent with a vanilla twist, which makes for the most beautiful of scents! If you haven't tried this, then you honestly must because it's gorgeous! 

What products have you discovered this summer?

Dressing up for a date night or an evening out for me has always been one of those 'I don't know what to wear' moments, as I never know how casual or dressy to go but nine times out ten I usually manage to gauge it just right. I thought i'd do something a little different and style up three different looks, perfect for every kind of evening style there is, all with a little help from Tobi.

DRESSY CASUAL

For as long as I can remember, my go to option for a night out or a more dressed up casual outfit has been these Zara Pleated Culottes as they are so easy to style with so many different top options and my favourite option by far to style them with is bodysuits. They just go hand in hand and make an outfit so easy to throw together. For a while now i've wanted a white lace bodysuit but haven't ever managed to find one that works for me, that was until this beautiful Kennedy Ivory Crochet Bodysuit* (£22) caught my eye. If anyone knows me, they know I love me some lace and I love me some lace up detailing, which this body suit has down the front but the back also laces up, allowing you to show off your back a little bit if you're feeling a little bit daring. Personally I love every thing about this body suit, it fits amazingly as it holds you in just the right places and is so flattering on the body that you can't help but not feel amazing!

Dresses used to be my go to for an evening out, but as i've gotten older i've found myself exploring more of my personal style and finding more body flattering options that work for me. One trend that has been massive this summer is the good old faithful wrap dress, and for so long i've wanted to find one that just fitted my body in the right way, but could I find said dress? No. This was until I spied this absolute dream boat of a wrap dress, the Maria Cross Olive Dress* (£21) and I just knew i'd love everything about it, and of course I was right! The first time I put this dress on I felt amazing, and I hadn't felt like that about a dress in years! The colour is absolutely stunning, especially when you've whacked on a bit of fake tan, and the quality is impeccable! Being someone who works in fashion design, quality is a big thing for me as I understand every gals nightmare of a dress being see through, or the quality of the material being oh so cheap, but this is up there in terms of quality. I chose to style this up with some old faithful River Island heels from last summer that I absolutely love and wear to death, of which are long gone but I have a linked a few similar style below.

All in all i'm really impressed with Tobi's clothing and i'll definitely be ordering a few more pieces from them as they are really affordable and often have some amazing discounts, such as 50% off your first shop.. erm yes please!
