This Week I #20

May 04, 2014

This week seems to have just flown by, but it feels like I haven't really done an awful lot as i've just been doing uni work and working mainly. I'm spending this bank holiday weekend just chilling and having a little break from any sort of work, as I feel like i deserve it.
Handed in my dissertation - Even though I finished my dissertation and half handed it in a couple of weeks ago, this week I physically handed it in which felt like a huge weight off my shoulders. It's safe to say that it was literally the worst piece of uni work that I have ever had to complete and i'm so glad it's done and dusted!
Tried some new foods - Carrying on from last weeks trying to eat healthy vibe, this week i've been trying out some dishes that I don't eat all that often and trying to eat more vegetables, especially with my evening meals. My mum threw together a somewhat paella style dish, which was incredible and i've also been eating a lot of sweet potato, I think I might have fallen in love with it.
Made some more online orders - With the student discounts continuing, I of course made a few more cheeky orders whilst I could. I'll be featuring everything in my next recent purchases post, so look out for that over the next few weeks.
Treated myself to some pretty tulips - I've been wanting some tulips for a while now, just to add a bit of spring feeling to my room and I might use them whilst taking my blog pictures as I think they are a nice addition to the background of images. For £2, they're actually really nice!
Made some yummy brownies - In a moment of boredom, my boyfriend and myself decided to make some brownies and they turned out so good. So much sugar though!

What have you been up to this week?
