Current Skincare Loves #2

March 07, 2014

Today I thought i'd talk you guys through my next bunch of skincare loves, even though i'm still loving all the products from my last post i've picked up a few more products that i've added into my skincare routine.
Garnier Fresh Eye Makeup Remover - Superdrug (£3.15), La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + - Escentual (£10.33), Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter - The Body Shop (£12)

Let's get straight into this. First up is a fairly recent purchase and that is the Garnier Fresh Eye Makeup Remover, which I am loving at the minute. As I recently used my L'oreal Eye Makeup Remover, I wanted to try something new and i'm so glad I picked this up as it removes my makeup so easily, without pulling any product into my eyes which I found happens a lot with other removers, and it smells really fresh which I find quite calming in a way. Next up is another new addition into my skincare and that is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +, which I wasn't going to purchase as I don't usually have problematic skin, but recently my chin has really been acting up. As this product is aimed at blemish prone skin and the added + is that it also corrects the appearance of imperfections I just had to give a go and so far i'm really impressed. Lastly is my go to cleanser at the moment and this is The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter. I use this mainly in the evenings to melt away my makeup and to give my face a really good cleanse. I find mixing this with a little water takes away the oily texture and creates more of a butter texture that is so soothing on the skin, and leaves my skin so soft it's unreal!

So that is an update into the skincare products i'm loving at the minute. Also, the Effaclar Duo + is currently on offer on Escentual, so i'd get it now if you're thinking of purchasing it.

Have you tried any of these products recently?

  1. I really want to try the Body Shop cleansing butter, I'm just a little wary it might break me out with some of the heavy ingredients.

It's working wonders on mine at the minute! It's so so good, you can actually test the products in the shop so maybe ask for a sample when you next go in there? x

I was too a little worried about this, but it's so gentle on the skin. You can ask for samples in the body shop, so maybe ask for one when you're next in there? x

The cleansing butter sounds very luxurious. I'm on the verge of giving into the La Roche Posay hype- its just too much and it seems like it would be perfect for my skin. I've been using the Garnier micellar water for removing make up- its fab!
