Zoella Beauty Haul/First Impressions

October 03, 2014

I'm quite certain that everyone and their nan know about the latest beauty launch from the lovely Zoe or Zoella as everyone knows her and when I heard she was launching a line of beauty products, I instantly knew I had to get my hands on them.
Zoella was actually the first blog I ever read before starting up my own little blog and it is mad to think how far she has come since starting Zoella back in 2009 (or Schoee.. if any of you remember)

As most you probably know, thanks to the endless balloon filled instagram feed, that the Zoella Beauty launch event took place last Thursday and I am so jealous of everyone who got to attend as it looked truly amazing, everything looked so pretty and so Zoe! It's truly amazing to see the entire blogging and Youtube community supporting Zoe through this launch and i'm oh so happy for her.

Enough of a back story and now onto the products themselves. As most of you know the products launched online on both Feel Unique and Superdrug on Friday, and have been available in most major Superdrug stores since Monday this week, and of course I made a sneaky online order from Feel Unique early Friday morning, and I thought i'd share my thoughts/first impressions. The main product that I wanted was the Let's Glow Fragranced Candle (£5) as I love my candles, and from what i'd read/heard so far about the scent it sounded right up my street, and I was right. It's the perfect mix of fruity and sweet without it being too overpowering. I also love the little tin it comes in and the packaging is so cute! I can't wait to burn this whilst having a nice soak in the bath.

Talking of soaking in the bath, the next product I ordered was the Soak Opera Bath Soak & Shower Cream (£5). I love the name of this, so cute and quirky. Again the scent of this is the same as the candle but a lot more subtle in comparison, and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this. The last product I picked was the Fizz Bar Fragranced Bath Fizzer (£5), and I love that this is shaped like a chocolate bar. I also love that Zoe has made this a multiple use product, as I love a good bath bomb from Lush but I hate that they are only one use. I'm definitely having a pamper evening over the weekend to really give these products a good try.

Overall I love everything about this range. The packaging is so cute and so tailored towards Zoe's aesthetic but also her audiences aesthetic, I just love it. The fragrance is beautiful, it must have been so hard for her to choose a fragrance that would please so many different people and I think she has managed to do that. Again i'm so pleased for Zoe, and i'm glad to see so many other bloggers/followers are also loving her range.

Have you got your hands on any of the Zoella Beauty products?

  3. Lovely review Charlotte. I really want to try the bath fizz bar, because I love how the product lasts more than just one bath too. Unfortunately, I don't have a bath at uni so I'll have to hold off until I'm home for Christmas, boo.
