February Favourites
February 27, 2015
Can you believe that is is already the end of February?! Sitting down to write another favourites post, when it only feels like yesterday I was writing up my January favourites is quite scary, I cannot believe how fast this year is going.
This month i've definitely been loving a lot of new products, as i've been able to treat myself a little more this month and i've definitely found some staple products to add into my collection.
Starting with fragrance, and I never thought i'd ever love another perfume as much as I love my Marc Jacobs perfumes but the Hugo Woman Eau de Parfum* 30ml (£29.99) has become a firm fragrance favourite. The scent is a very 'me' scent, as I am a huge lover of fruity fresh fragrances and this is just beautiful. The scent lingers all day and i've had so many people telling me that I smell nice, which is always nice.
I've recently become a huge fan of cream blushers, having never really used any before I wasn't really sure what to expect but after picking up the Topshop 'Morning Dew' Cream Blush (£7) in the sale, the obsession has become real. I love how easy they are to blend on to cheeks and this shade in particular gives such a lovely pop of colour to the cheeks that really compliments my complexion. I've since purchased a couple more cream blushers, so look out for some first impressions on those soon!
It comes as no surprise that the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara has become a favourite this month, so much so that I prefer this to They're Real!(£19.50) It works wonders as coating my lashes, whilst separating and lifting at the same time. I also love the design of the plastic brush, as it really grabs the lashes and coats them in just one sweep, so great for when you're in a rush. It's also really easy to remove, which I wasn't expecting but just adds to how great this mascara is. This launches in just a matter of weeks, so if you haven't tried it yet then make sure you pick up a full size!
For a while now i've wanted to try out a brow pencil, but i've always been a little skeptical as my brows are just difficult to work with, so a powder has always been my go to. Having said that i've recently been trying out the Born Pretty 2-in-1 Eyebrow Pencil* (£1.13) and i'm converted. I believe I have shade 2, which I thought was going to be too dark of a shade but it's actually a really good match for my brows. I love that this has a spooley on the end, so I can comb my brows through to get a good shade to them.
Lastly of course is the new Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection, which I treated myself to around payday (and almost cried at how expensive they were) and i'm so glad that I did. Now i've been loving the Flat Contour Brush (£22), as it is great for contouring and getting into the hollows of your cheeks. The shape of the brush is just great and works so well, that i'd definitely recommend this brush over any other brush within the collection. I've also been loving the Arched Powder Brush (£25), which i've been using for blush. Even though the brush is a little big, the round shape to it makes it great for applying powder blush to the apples of your cheeks.
So those are all of the products i've been loving recently!
What have you been loving this month?

I've been really impressed with Roller Lash too, especially in comparison to They're Real! It's not as dry and flaky. I think i'll definitely be picking up a full size version. The Topshop Cream Blushes look lovely. I really want to give them a try!
